Tanika felt like she would faint again.

"What-what nonsense!"

She didn't want to believe it. Werewolves were in stories. They weren't real.

Ronak smiled and got up. He stood at a distance from her and started unbuttoning his shirt. She looked at him wide eyed and shrieked.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"I am showing you-"

"I don't want to see anything."

She yelled closing her eyes and he chuckled. He undressed himself completely and shifted.

She heard the sounds of bone cracking and looked at him only to be shocked. He was shifting. In front of her. She saw his bone structure change and his smooth skin turn into furry one. His teeth turn into sharp canines and hands and legs turn into feet with sharp nails.

He was immensely attractive and his wolf was a very beautiful beast. She had read that mates feel attracted towards each other. Maybe she actually was his mate because she was hella attracted to him.

No! She can't be. She was a human for God's sake.

He shifted back and she closed her eyes with another shriek.

"Why do keep coming in front of me naked?"

He chuckled and said.

"When we turn into wolves our clothes are torn. So we prefer not to wear them when turning."

He explained as he dressed himself. She peeked from one eye and saw him buttoning his shirt. She got the clear view of his delicious chest. She could see a deep scar near his abdomen to the side disappearing behind his back.

He caught her looking at her and smirked making her look away embarassed.

"I want to go back home."

She mumbled and he stilled. He had just found her. He didn't want to part with her now.

"You can't. Waise bhi everyone out there thinks you were killed by the wolf. And moreover you are my mate Tanika. You can't leave."

Her eyes widened when he told her everyone thinks she was dead.

"But my parents. Listen I understand that you think I am your mate but that's not possible. I am a human and I want to go back to my parents."

"I don't think you are my mate. I know you are my mate Tanika."

"Listen Mr. Werewolf. Mujhe yaha nhi rehna. I want to go back to my parents."

She said angrily and he smiled. She was fiesty like always.

"I'll call them here. And by the way it Ronak."

He said going out leaving to her thoughts.

Two of the wolves in his pack went to get her parents. The two were griefed hearing the authorities say their daughter was killed by a wolf. Her father had completely lost his energy.

When the two told them that they were taking them to their daughter her father felt a hope.

"Mumma! Papa!"

Tanika ran to them and her father hugged her tightly hiding her in his embrace.

"Thank God! Thank God you are- tu ghar nhi aayi meri toh jaan hi sukh gyi thi. You are not going anywhere now. Meri bachi."

He said hugging her tight. He was so scared for his baby. Her mother too hugged her tightly crying and kissing her face all over.

Ronak came to the room and her parents joined their hands in front of him.

"Thank you so much for saving our daughter."

They thought he saved her from the wolf. Tanika cleared her throat awkwardly not knowing how to tell them.

"Mumma! He didn't save me."

She whispered making her parents look at her confused.

"He was the wolf. I mean he is a werewolf."

"Not the time for jokes Tani."

Her mother scolded her. She knew she was a fan of werewolves but seriously not the time.

"Arre! Mai mazak nhi kr rhi. He is."

"She is right!"

Ronak said making the two of them look at him. They looked at each other and burst out laughing.

"Aap dono milke hume prank krna chahte hai na. Ye issi ka idea hoga. Pagal hai ye ladki bhi. Bas kr ab Tani."

Her mother glared at her. Tanika stood in front of them and tried explaining but was cut short by their loud gasps and the sound of bones cracking.

She knew he had shifted. In fronf of her parents. She sighed and her parents sat open mouthed. Ronak went inside and came back out freshly dressed since his clothes were torn from the shifting.

Her father immediately pulled Tanika to his side shielding her from him afraid he might hurt his daughter.

"He won't hurt me papa."

He heard his daughter's soft voice from his chest.

"You don't know Tani. He is dangerous."

"I am dangerous sir. But not for her. I won't hurt her ever. She is my mate."

Her mother gasped and her father frowned.

"Now what the hell is that?"

"A mate is someone a werewolf is fated with."

His wife explained him and he scowled.

"The hell my daughter is your mate. She is not staying another moment. Chal Tani we are leaving."

He said gettig up and holding her hand. The men present in the room took positions ready to attack and save their Luna. Ronak stopped them and turned to her parents.

"You can't take her sir. Staying away from the mate after finding her weakens a wolf. But I am not worried about me. I am worried about her. Staying away from me, she would suffer too."

"My daughter will not suffer because of you."

Her father yelled and Ronak smiled slightly.

"You can say whatever you want sir. But this is the truth. Being away from me will make her feel anxious and uneasy. We are mates and attraction is bound to happen."

He said so casually that Tanika looked at him wide eyed, her mother gasped and her father cleared his throat awkwardly.

"But I can't stop you. She is your daughter. Bas ek baat kahunga. Don't stop her if she wants to come herself."
