Tanika was woken up by a hand caressing her hair softly. She smiled and snuggled into the person hugging them by their waist.

The man smiled and patted her back softly. She sat up groggily still in his arms and he kissed her head.

"Wake up princess. College ke liye late ho jaayega."

He said and Tanika made a hum sound while grinning at him. He could do anything for this girl. For she was his little princess and he had loved her since the moment he had got to know about her existence.

Even before she had actually come into this world and even before he had held her in his arms for the first time.

Tanika too like most of the girls was her papa's princess. And her father loved her more than anything in the world. For him it was only her and his wife.

"Chalo chalo go an freshen up before your mother comes in here and scolds both of us."

He said being mock scared of her and Tanika giggled. She adored the bond her parents shared.

She dragged herself to the bathroom and did her morning routine. She came out taking a bath and got ready for her college.

She had her breakfast with her parents and then left for the college bidding them a bye.

She reached her class and found two of her friends already there chatting.

"Hey guys!"

"Hi!"

They chirped together and the two filed her in with the latest gossip they had got. A few minutes another one of their friends came looking too excited.

"Hey guyss!"

She squealed excitedly and squeaked out some words which none of them understood.

"Pihu! Insaano ki basha."

Nisha reminded Pihu who glared at her and said in the same excited voice.

"Have you guys not checked your Whatsapps?"

They shook their heads and she said.

"Arre yaar guys. Check the official group. There's a trip coming. A full one week trip. To Nainital."

She yelled and woohoed making the Nisha and Payal yell in excitement too.

Even Tanika was excited. This would be the first time from the college and she excited to go.

"And you guys know the best part? We are not staying at a hotel. Hum forest mai camp lagane wale hai."

Tanika's excitement died.

"Matlab?"

"Matlab ye ki we are going to be in the open forest and enjoy our trip doing activities there."

"But isn't that too risky? I mean out in the open. Jungli janwar huye toh?"

"Arre babe! It's not risky. Its fun and adventurous. Aur waise bhi we won't be too deep in the forest na. Toh jungli janwar nhi honge. And moreover we'll be together. Kitna mazza aayega."

She said and Tanika thought of it. It did seem fun.

"But I don't think ye forest wali baat sunke mumma papa maanenge."

She said and Pihu rolled her eyes.

"Come on! I am aure uncle aunty won't deny. Tera mann hai na? Toh bas phir. Maan jaayenge."

The more they talked about it the more her excitement rose. She prayed her parents agreed to it.

The same night Tanika entered her parents' room with a wide grin on her face. Her mother raised her eyebrows at her questioningly.

She sat in front of her and her father also came out of the washroom.

"Kya baat hai?"

He asked and she forwarded her phone to him which showed the details of the trip. He read in in 2 minutes and gave her phone back.

"Achhi baat hai. Jaao."

He said and Tanika frowned.

'Hain!? Itni asaani se?'

"Aapne pura pada na? Hum kisi hotel ya resort mai nhi rukenge. We will camp in open forest."

"Haan toh asli adventure toh wahi hai. Aur waise bhi sab saath honge tension ki baat hi nhi hai. Mann hai toh jaao."

He said and she hugged him with a loud squeal. She kissed his cheek and ran away in excitement making him chuckle.

"Bhut risky nhi hai?"

He heard his wife and side hugged her.

"Thoda jeene do usse. Kabhi kuch adventurous nhi kia. Hamesha hamari tareeke se jeeya hai na. Pehli baar kahi jaane ke liye itni excited hai. Waise bhi pure din sirf books padti rehti hai. Pta nhi kya bhediya wagrh."

He said with distaste. His wife gave him a stink look and said.

"Werewolves kehte hai unhe. And werewolves are hot ok."

She said and he tickled her making her laugh loudly.

"I'll show you what's hot."

He whispered still tickling her.

The next day Tanika told her friends that her parents had said yes and the girls started planning for the trip.

She went shopping with her mother and got herself three pairs of denim shorts, three tank tops, two cotton shorts and two casual baggy shirts for nightwear.

She was so excited that she couldn't sleep the whole night. The next day she showered and got ready wearing the cute shorts she got along with the tank top and a shirt around her waist.

"You look cute."

Her father smiled making her grin.

"You look hot."

Her mother winked making her father gasp and Tanika giggle.

"She looks cute."

He asserted and the two burst out laughing. She hugged her father and rushed off to her college from where they were going together in a bus.

She loaded her stuff in the bus trunk and took one of the back seats with her friends.

They reached Nainital in 4 hours singing, dancing and playing games all during the journey.

They had their breakfast together. Nisha had bought white sauce pasta, Pihu got stuffed kulcha, Payal got fried rice and Tanika got cutlets.

The first day they spent making camp and enjoyed the night around bonfires.

Payal, Pihu, Nisha and Tanika were in one camp and played dumb charades and cards until early morning. They slept at 3 and woke up again at 7am.
