Armaan too got up and asked her.

"Kya hua?"

She realised how her reaction might have looked and tried to act sober.

"Kuch nhi."

After Armaan and his family left Sanya glared at her sister.

"You knew wo Economics professor hai."

She accused and Sanjana sighed.

"Aur mujhe bataya bhi nhi."

"Agar bta deti tih tu milne ke liye taiyar hoti?"

She asked knowing Sanya's answer very well. She slowly shook her head and Sanjana gave her a look and said.

"Isliye nhi bataya. Because I knew ki tu ye jaante hi milne se mana kr degi lekin after getting to know him ye cheez matter hi nhi kregi."

"Still! You should have told me."

Siddharth intervened and said.

"Now toh you know na. Ab kya answer different ho jaayega? If you were going to say yes before are you going to say no now?"

She pouted and he smiled. Cupping her cheek he said.

"Tere liye best select krenge hum Sanya. You're my little baby sister. Aise hi kisi ke bhi saath nhi bhej dunga. Armaan is a very nice guy."

"Lekin agar unhe pata chal gaya ki mai Economics mai weak hu toh?"

He chuckled and said.

"Toh kya? Wo koi tujhe tuitions ke liye thodi le rha hai. He is marrying you. And so what if he is a professor. I also am one. And sach batau toh tumhari behen ki bhi economics kuch khaas nhi hai. I still married her right?"

He whispered and she giggled.

"But you loved her since always na."

He gave her a teasing smile.

"Haan toh kisne bola Armaan doesn't love you? Maybe not right now. But trust me the way he was looking at you the boy is whipped lekin usse khud hi nhi pata abhi. I know a man's eye Sanya. You'll be happy with him."

Trusting her sister and brother-in-law she had said yes for the alliance. The roka ceremony was conducted.

"Maasi!"

Two loud squeaky voices resonated and Sanya's face split in a huge grin seeing her little muchkins run towards her.

They settled on her lap and she placed kisses on their cheeks making them giggle and kiss her back.

"Aap sundar!"

They said together complimenting her. The two were her sister's three year old twins.

"Introduce me to them."

She heard a whisper close to her ear and bit her lip. Her fiance sat there looking at her and the kids with a smile.

"Aman! Arush! Say hello to mausaji."

The boys looked at Armaan and then back at Sanya who nodded and the boys yelled a loud hello and ran away making both of them chuckle.

"There's so cute. But how do you guys tell them apart?"

Sanya leaned a little closer unconsciously and pointed towards them.

"You observe their movements and expressions. The one with pure innocence and happy smiles is Aman. And the one with shaitaani and khurafaat in his eyes is Arush."

He chuckled at how she described him and looked at her admiring the kids.

"You love kids."

It wasn't a question. It was an observation.

She looked at him and hummed.

"You want kids of your own someday?"

She gave him a questioning look and said.

"Don't you think it's too early for us to have that conversation?"

He smiled nervously and said.

"I just wanted to know. No offence though."

"I love kids. And I do want mine one day. Lekin the whole process of birthing a baby scares me. The pain and everything just freaks me out. Di ko dekha maine and I'm done."

He chuckled and said.

"Toh how do you plan on having yours then?"

She shrugged and said.

"I don't know. Socha nhi abhi tak. Shayad jab tak plan kru tab tak science itni advance ho jaaye ki ya toh pregnancy painless ho jaaye ya aadmi deliver krne lage."

He gave her a weird look and she smiled innocently. Soon both of them burst out laughing. Sanjana who was clicking pictures saw them and clicked theirs at the right moment. A moment they were going to cherish for the rest of their lives.

A month passed and Sanya was now officially engaged to Armaan. She although asked for some time before marriage to get to know him properly and fall in love with him before moving on in life with him.

He accepted it readily and the two were now engaged and dating. With their families permissions. So no fuss.

Sanya was going through the engagement pictures which she just received.

She stopped and admired her hansome and perfect fiance.

Her smile slowly fell as a thought clouded her mind.

He was perfect. Perfect in every sense. Well established in his career. The perfect son. Perfect brother.

And she was utterly flawed. What if after their marriage he realises she is so imperfect and flawed and he doesn't want her anymore?

Her insecurities started clawing at her and amidst her insecurities she took the most stupid decision.

She was going to use the time she asked to get to know to actually make him hate her so that he himself denies for the marriage.

"I really like you Armaan. Lekin mai aapke liye disappointment nhi banna chahti."

She whispered to her own self and took a deep breath.

From tomorrow she would show him that he would do a mistake marrying her. Better now than him realising it later and regretting.

Only if she knew how wrong she was about him. Only if she knew he meant every word of it when he said he would accept her the way she was. With every baggage.

Only if she knew how beautifully destiny was going to destroy her stupid plan. Only if she knew her life was going to change for the best. Only if she knew he was going to love her so much that she would fall in love with herself.
