Myra looked at the time and smiled mischievously. She quietly went to the terrace with the required stuff.
Her terrace was connected with the neighbours by a wall. She climbed on to their terrace and giggled silently.
She knew the secret entrance into the house. Everyone did. But no one knew that she actually uses it.
She entered the room on the terrace and opened the secret door to the basement. She climbed down the stairs which led to a door that opened inside the storeroom in the house.
The door was always kept open. She peeked out of the storeroom and when she was sure no one was around she ran to her destination.
She quietly entered the room and smirked hearing the shower running.
She opened the gate to the bathroom and mentally yayyed seeing it open.
Advik and his habit of not locking the door while showering. Thankfully the curtains to the shower were drawn so his modesty was covered.
She quickly had to do her work. She opened the gate in such a way that it was only slightly open.
She tied a balloon filled with mud water to a small string and kept it on the edge of the door such that as soon as the gate would open the balloon would fall off the door and hit the pin she had taped at the head of the doorframe.
She then put a wide tape at the entrance such that a person would have to bow down to get beyond it.
Giggling at her brilliant plan she plopped down on the bed and waited for him to finish.
10 minutes later she heard the water stop and sat straight knowing it was time.
As soon as the door opened and Advik's freshly showered figure came in view the balloon filled with mud water fell down hitting the pin and burst over his head making him freeze.
He looked up and then at himself and then at a laughing Myra. His eyes raged in anger and he yelled.
"Myra!"
Just as he took a step to run to her his face got stuck on the tape and he groaned making her laugh even louder.
"I am not going to leave you."
He groaned and she doubled up in laughter.
"Uske liye... pehle pakadna padega na."
(For that...you need to catch me.)
She said between her laughter and ran out of the room to her home from the same passage she came from.
She came to her room still laughing and sighed holding her stomach which hurt due to so much laughter.
Her mother called her out for breakfast and she went.
She was in the middle of her breakfast when her eyes fell on the raging bull coming her way.
Her eyes widened and she left the morsel in her hand.
"Mar gyi!"
(I'm dead!)
She mumbled and got up ready to run. Her parents looked at her confused and followed her line of sight.
"Arre Advik beta! Aaja!"
(Come!)
Her mother said happily and he smiled and touched both of their feet and took their blessings.
He then again glared at Myra who screeched and ran away.
"Mummy! Bachao!"
(Save me!)
She ran into her room trying to lock ot before he could enter but he was fast enough to block her and push her back.
She ran around the room while he walked with fast legs to catch her.
She climbed on the bed knowing he won't climb on and said.
"Dekh Advik! Baat khatam krte hai na. Drag on krne se kya hoga?"
(Look Advik! Let's end it here. What will be get by dragging on?)
She said nervously but screamed when he held her ankle and pulled her down making her bounce on the bed.
He climbed on her stomach and held her hands over her head. He looked at her with a dangerous glint and smirked.
"Ab kaun bachayega tujhe?"
(Who will save you now?)
He said and laughed evily. He left her hands and looked at her dangerously.
She understood what he meant and pleaded him.
"Nhi! Please Advik! Maaf krde apni bholi bechari dost ko please."
(No! Forgive your innocent helpless friend.)
She fake cried but her cries turned to screams when he started tickling her mercilessly.
"Ahh! Please! Achha bas bas please ahhhhhhaaa! Sorry!"
(Ok stop please.)
She yelled and he finally had mercy on her and slumped beside her. Both of them laughed and she suddenly got up.
"I need to pee."
She mumbled and ran inside the washroom making him chuckle. She always did that. Whenever he attacked her with tickles she would run to the washroom in the aftermath.
She came back and slumped beside him.
"Waise prank achha tha na."
(The prank was good right.)
She asked him grinning like a madwoman and he gave her a stink eye making faces at her.
"Bilkul nhi! I had to shower again because of that stupid prank."
(Not at all!)
He rolled his eyes and she giggled.
"Toh achha hai na. Waise bhi tu do do din nahata nhi. Achha se dhul gaya aaj."
(Its good. You don't shower two days in a row. Got washed properly this time.)
She said hitting his arm making him glare at her and she laughed.
Their laughter was cut short by her mother's voice.
"Myra! Advik! Beta bahar aake naastha kr lo."
(Come and have breakfast.)
They got up and went out.
"Aunty mai ghar jaa rha hu. Wahi kr lunga."
(I am going home. Will have it there only.)
Her mother shook her head and said.
"Baith jaa chup chap. Methi ke paranthe banaye hai."
(Sit down quietly. I have made Methi Paranthas.)
His eyes lit up hearing it.
"Methi ke paranthe! Aunty white butter bhi hai kya?"
(Do you have white butter?)
He asked and she nodded chuckling.
"Baith yaha laati hu."
(Sit I will bring it.)
She said and caressed his head going into the kitchen to bring his white butter.
While he was having his breakfast his phone rang indicating his mother's call. He picked up and answered it.
"Haan mumma....Naasta? Wo toh maine yaha kr lia."
(Yes mumma... breakfast? That I had here.)
He said sheepishly making everyone chuckle.
Myra and Advik were childhood friends. They were neighbours and their families were also good friends leading to their friendship being even more strong.
Both their families loved the kids and their bond and hence were planning something unknown to the two besties.
