Aisha's POV

Taking the pen that he passed I signed the contract. No, actually it was my life that I signed off. Because I knew my life would never be same after this.

Mr. Malhotra transferred the first 25% of amount in front of me. I received the message and left from there in his car which he insisted on.

"You are my fiancee now. Get used to this."

He had said. I am sitting in my bedroom right now. Naisha would be back home any minute.

I don't know how am I even going to tell Naisha about this. I can't tell her the truth. She is going to be so hurt.

I will have to make up a story. A believable one.

The door bell rang indicating that she was here. I opened the door and a smile instantly came to my face looking at her grinning face.

She bounced inside happily telling me about her day. I served her food with a smile while listening to her rants.

After finishing her food she got busy on her phone while I cleaned the dishes.

I heard the doorbell ring and I asked Naisha to look.

"Di!"

I heard her scared voice a few seconds later. Leaving the dishes I rushed
out and saw those men again.

"Naisha andar jaa."

(Go inside.)

She looked at me and I gave her a stern look. She went inside and those men said.

"Madamji kya iraada hai. Paise dengi ya..."

(What are your intentions. Will you give money or...)

He didn't complete the sentence. I fished out my laptop and sat on the sofa making them confused.

"Aapka bank account details denge?"

(Give me your bank account details?)

The man was confused by complied nonetheless. In another five minutes his phone pinged and he looked at me wide eyed.

"Ye itne paise kaha se mile?"

(How did you get so much money?)

"Doesn't matter. Aaj ke baad mere aur meri behen ke aas paas bhi nhi dikhne chahiye aap aur aapke log."

(Don't come near me or my sister from now on.)

He nodded and then all of them left.

"Di?"

I turned back to lock at Naisha. I quickly closed the laptop and smiled at her but seemed like she heard everything.

"Itne paise kaise aaye aapke paas?"

(How did you get so much money?)

"Tu wo dab chhod. Bas ab ye log hume dobara kabhi tang nhi karenge."

(Leave that. These people will not disturb us anymore.)

She continued to look at me and for the first time in my life I saw doubt in her eyes. Doubt about me.

I sighed knowing that I have to tell her.

"Naisha. Meri baat dhyan se sunna."

(Listen to me.)

I said and held her hands.

"I am getting married."

She blinked and asked.

"What!?"

"I love someone Naisha aur hum shaadi kr rhe hai. Aur iss problem unhone hi meri help kri hai."

(And we are getting married. And he helped me in this.)

There was no way I was going to tell her the truth.

"But? Kab? Aur aapke kabhi mujhe kuch bataya kyu nhi?"

(When? And why didn't you tell me?)

"Mauka hi nhi mila kabhi. Aur abhi shaadi ka kuch final nhi hai. Maybe kuch din baad. Chhota hi function hoga. I guess."

(I didn't get the chance to. And nothing is final yet. Maybe some days later. It would be a small function.)

I mumbled the last two words.

"Mujhe milna hai unse."

(I want to meet him.)

"Kal milwa dungi. Ok?"

(Tomorrow.)

I asked with a smile and she nodded. I know she doesn't believe me yet. How could she? It is so sudden that I myself am not able to believe.

Akshant's POV

I was sitting in my room doing my work on my laptop when my phone pinged.

Out of reflex I peeked in and saw Miss Sharma's message.

Mr. Malhotra?

Yes Miss Sharma.

I told my sister about our marriage. And she wants to meet you. Will it be alright if you come home tomorrow.

I hope you didn't tell her anything about the contract Miss Sharma.

No.

Great! And I will be there tomorrow.

Thank you. And yes. We need to prepare a story to convince her.

Don't worry about that. I got it covered.

Alright. But let me warn you that she is going to ask a lot of questions.

Thank you for the warning. I'll handle.

Ok. See you tomorrow.

Good night Miss Sharma.

Good night. And please stop calling me Miss Sharma. Its Aisha.

I didn't reply after that.

"Aisha."

The name rolled off smoothly. Hmm. Nice name.

"See you tomorrow. Aisha."

I was in the office when I remembered that I had to meet Aisha at her home. Well if I have to make the people believe that she is actually my wife then my baby would not be a surprise or doubt to them.

I stopped near the building. So this is where she lives.

I look around the locality observing it. This area is not very safe. Prone to theft and accidents.

Atleast she could move to a better place after the contract is terminated.

I entered the building and went to the fifth floor where her apartment was.

I rang the doorbell and it was opened by a girl who looked like she was a college student.

She raised her eyebrows at me questioningly while blocking the gate.

"Yes?"

She asked and I looked confused. Doesn't she know who I am.

"Mr Malhotra?"

I heard Aisha's voice. The girl turned and Aisha said to her.

"Naisha. That's him. Andar aiye."

(Come in.)

"You call him Mr Malhotra?"

The girl asked. Aisha wasn't lying when she said that she is going to ask questions.

Aisha looked confused as to how to answer the question.

"You know your sister and how shy she is. Aaj tak bhi bina sharmaye mera naam nhi lia."

(She can't even take my name without shying.)

I said trying to look at Aisha affectionately. I hope I was succeeding.

Aisha looked down and tucked her hair maybe trying to be shy. Nice acting. She actually has that red hue on her cheeks.

I saw Naisha crack a smile at her sister and I smirked mentally. She is believing it.

We sat down and I looked around the house. It wasn't much but strangely it felt comfortable. Like home.

"So? Mr?"

I looked at Naisha.

"Akshant. Akshant Malhotra."

She hummed and said.

"Kab se jaante hai aap meri di ko?"

(Since when do you know my sister?)
