Rudra's POV

I told my parents that I invited her and her family home for dinner and mumma was excited like anything.

According to her she is going to meet her future daughter-in-law, she was excited.

I ordered Indian thali because most people prefer eating a proper dinner.

The doorbell rang and I received them.

I smiled and welcomed them in. Bhavya was wearing a yellow suit. She looked at me for a reaction and I showed her a thumbs up.

She looked away ignoring me. I tried to hide my smile.

My cute girlfriend!

Mumma and papa greeted them and Bhavya joined her hands in a namaste.

Mumma smiled warmly and hugged her.

Bhavya looked at me and I know she understood that I told them about her.

Bhavya's POV

Great! I was already very nervous about them not liking me and they already know about us made me more nervous.

We sat down and aunty whispered something into his ear making him grin widely.

The doorbell rang and Rudra went to check while mumma papa started talking to his parents.

Rudra came back with two big parcels.

Aunty was about to get up to help him when I stopped her.

"Aap baithiye aunty. Mai krwa dungi. Aap log itni dur se aaye hai thak bhi gaye honge."

(Aunty you please sit. I will help. You people came from so long journey.)

She smiled and nodded. I got up and went behind Rudra in the kitchen.

I helped him take out the food.

"Sasu maa ki sewa ki jaa rhi hai."

(Pleasing your mother-in-law.)

"Shut up!"

I whisper yelled at him. He pulled me in his arms.

I looked away and he kissed my cheek loudly.

I looked at him wide eyed. He grinned widely and said.

"Sorry! Ab maaf bhi krdo. Aur kitna gussa rahogi."

(Forgive me now. How long will you stay mad.)

"Pehle promise me ki aaj dobara aise kuch nhi chhupayenge mujhse."

(You will never hide anything from me.)

"Pakka promise. Ab toh smile krdo."

(Now smile.)

I smiled and he kissed my head.

"I have a good news."

I looked at him and he grinned.

"Tumhe pata hai mumma ne mere kaan mai kya kaha? That she likes you."

(You know what mumma said in my ear?)

"Really?"

He nodded and said.

"Hmm. She liked you a lot. Mere parents ko toh tum bhut pasand ho. Ab bas uncle aunty ko batana hai hamare baare mai. Wo kaam mummy aur karenge."

(My parents like you. Now only uncle aunty are left. That mumma papa will do.)

"Kya?"

(What?)

"Hmm. They are going to talk about us. Tumhe koi problem hai? We can wait if you want."

(You have any problem?)

"Nhi. Koi problem nhi hai."

(No. No problem.)

I smile and hug him and he too hugs me back.

We break apart hearing a throat clearing.

His mother is standing there trying to hide her smile.

I pull back and create distance between us. I look down and tuck my hair behind my ear.

She took out two glasses and poured juice in them.

She went out still smiling.

"God! That was so embarrassing."

I mumble and Rudra looks at me.

"Isme embarrassing kya hai? You love me I love you. People in love hug each other."

(What's embarrassing in this?)

I close my eyes and groan. It is going to be so embarrassing to face her.

"Arre relax. Wo bhi apne pati ko hug krti hai."

(She also hugs her husband.)

"Rudra!"

I whisper yell with wide eyes and he laughs.

He is truly shameless.

I put the food in separate bowls so that everyone could eat easily.

We take the plates out and start eating.

Soon, I forgot about the embarrassing kitchen incident and we all were talking as if knew each other since so long.

Papa and uncle were literally behaving as if they were school friends meeting after so long.

It was 12 pm and no one was ready to move.

Rudra's POV

Our parents were talking to each other.

I looked at Bhavya and our eyes met.

I motioned her to come with me in the room. I wanted to talk to her alone some time.

She looked at me wide eyed and shook her head.

I pleaded her through my eyes and she motioned towards our parents and shook her head.

"Rudra! Mere saaman mai ek pouch hai usme kangan rakhe hai wo le kar aaja."

(There is a pouch of bangles in my bag get me that.)

I look at her confused. Why is she asking me. Pata toh hai inhe mujhe kuch nhi milne wala.

I nod nonetheless and start to get up.

"Arre Bhavya beta. Isse toh kuch milega nhi. Tum dhundwa do please."

(He won't find anything. You search it please.)

I smile widely and look at her. She winks at me. I love you mummy.

I look at Bhavya and smile mischievously. She smiles shyly and follow me inside.

As soon as we enter I cage her between he and the wall and she looks at me shyly.

I caress her cheeks and start leaning near her face.

"Rudra!"

She breaths out and I look into her eyes.

"Aunty bahar wait karengi."

(Aunty must be waiting outside.)

I hum and kiss her cheek softly. She breaths heavily and clutched my shirt tightly in her fists.

"Rudra!"

I start trailing kisses down her jaw and neck and she pants heavily.

"Rudra! Please!"

I hum again and continue my actions.

She releases a low moan and I look into her eyes.

I again start leaning near her lips and she keeps her hands on my chest.

"Rudra! Please! Achha nhi lagta."

(It doesn't look nice.)

I smile and kiss her forehead and kept my forehead on hers.

We stay like that for some time and then she searches the pouch mumma mentioned and we take it out.

Our parents stop talking and look at us as we get out of the room.

They are all smiling. I think I know the reason.

Bhavya's POV

Everyone is looking at us and I am getting nervous. I looked at my parents and they are smiling too.

I slowly went and stood near mumma. She held my hand smiling.

Aunty came to me and smiled softly.

"Shaadi karogi mere bete se?"

(Will you marry my son?)

She asked and I looked at her wide eyed.

I look at everyone. Everyone is smiling and Rudra is grinning widely.

I clutch mumma's hand and lower my head feeling shy.

"Pyaar krti ho mere bete se?"

(Do you love my son?)

Aunty asks and I nod slowly.

"Shaadi ke liye ready ho?"

(Are you ready for marriage?)

I nod again and she caresses my head.

She calls Rudra forward and he comes readily and stands beside me. A little too close.

This man is truly shameless.

"Ye kangan iske size ke krwa dena."

(Get these bangles made of her size.)

Aunty said to him giving him the pouch and he nodded. That stupid grin was not leaving his face.

"Agar aap dono ko koi problem na ho toh hum roka kal hi krle. Short ceremony."

(If you both don't have any problem then can we do that roka tomorrow.)

Aunty asks mumma papa and they nod smiling.

"Jaisa aapko sahi lage. Hume koi problem nhi hai. Bas hamare bache khush hai."

(Whatever you deem right. We have no issues. Our kids should be happy.)

They talk for some more time about the ceremony tomorrow and then we leave.
