Rudra's POV

She nods smiling and she move towards the rickshaw stands.

We sit in facing each other.

She looks anywhere but me. I know she is feeling a little awkward because it is.

Just sitting quite and looking at someone is awkward.

So I start a conversation.

"So? Tell me something about yourself."

She looks at me and I shrug.

"We are travel buddies now. I guess."

She smiles and then says.

"Naam toh aapko pata hi hai mera. About work. I run a dance school. Bacho ko classical dance sikhati hu."

(You know my name. I teach classical dance to children.)

"You dance really beautiful."

I smile and she smiles back. Her cheeks redden a little and she tucks her hair behind her ear mumbling a 'thank you'.

Gosh! She is so cute.

"Aap bataiye."

(You tell.)

"Kya jaana hai aapko?"

(What do you want to know?)

"Kuch bhi. Jo aap batana chahe."

(Anything. You want to tell.)

"Hmm. Naam toh you know. Kaam aaj start kr rha hu as Programme Designer. Baaki aisa kuch khaas hai nhi zindagi mai."

(You know the name. Work I am starting today. Nothing else is special.)

She giggles and I chuckle. We continue talking till we reach the station.

I get off the rickshaw and hold out a hundred rupee note to the rickshaw driver.

"Kya saab subha subha 100 ka chhuta kaha se laaye. Inn sabke bhi denge tab bhi pure nhi honge."

(What sir where will I get 100 change now. Even if you give theirs I won't get it.)

He says and look if I have any 10-20 rupee notes.

"Its ok. Maine de dia. Come."

(I gave.)

Bhavya says and I thank her.

"Ek tip du. Agar rickshaw se travel krna hai toh hamesha keep change with you. Ye rickshaw wale kabhi jaldi se khula nhi karenge."

(One tip. If you travel from rickshaw keep change. These people will never give you change easily.)

She says very seriously and I too nod equally serious. And then we burst out laughing.

We check in the station and wait for the train.

Luckily we found the seats.

She looks at the time and sighs happily.

"Aaj time se pahuch jaaungi."

(I will reach on time today.)

We sit quiet for some time and then she says.

"Waise aap hai kaha se? You said you are not from Delhi."

(Where are you from?)

"Ajmer. Rajasthan."

She looks at me and smiles.

"I love Rajasthan."

Bhavya's POV

So lucky are those people who live in Rajasthan. Daily tasty yummy food.

"Chhoti thi tab gyi thi last. Wo bhi Jaipur. Ajmer kabhi nhi dekha maine."

(I was small when I went. That too Jaipur. I have never seen Ajmer.)

"Koi baat nhi. Iss baar jaaunga toh tumhe lekar jaaunga. Tab dekh lena."

(No worries. When I go this time I will take you. See it then.)

He says looking into my eyes. I didn't know why but it felt like he meant it more than in one way.

I smile and look back at front.

The rest of the journey we talk about random stuff.

He asks for my number. I raise my eyebrow at him and he scratches his neck sheepishly.

"Wo wapasi mai we could go back together. Isliye."

(We could go back together. That's why.)

I smile and we exchange numbers.

He is a nice man.

I get off at my station and reach the school.

Rudra's POV

I reach my office with a wide smile.

I was allotted my cabin. My senior briefed me.

The atmosphere here is nice. Almost everyone seemed friendly and supportive enough.

Well, exceptions are everywhere.

I made a few friends.

The day went well. I can finally prove papa that I can do something without him and I am worth without him.

I reach the station and dial Bhavya.

"Hi. Just got free. Kaha ho tum?"

(Where are you?)

"Bas nikal rhi hu. 5 minute mai pahuch jaaungi."

(Just finished. Will reach in 5 minutes.)

"Cool. Mai station pr hi wait karunga."

(I'll wait on the station.)

"Okk."

I disconnected the call and got on the metro.

Then got off at the next station and was waiting for her.

She came in less than a minute.

Bhavya's POV

I reach the station and he was already there.

I smile and stand beside him.

"Kitni der se khade hai aap?"

(How long have you been standing?)

"Just abhi aaya."

(Just came.)

The metro comes and we get inside.

Argh! Peak hours. It is fully loaded.

We got inside with difficulty.

Everyone is literally on each other.

At the next station a little crowd got off and we breathed.

A man was standing in front me at a little distance was continuously eyeing me up and down.

Argh! These creeps.

I adjusted my dupatta feeling very very uncomfortable.

Just then Rudra slipped in front me covering me from that man and everyone else's eyes.

I look at him and our eyes lock.

His eyes gave me the feeling of being protected. I felt protected with his arms beside me caging me between him and the train wall.

We continue to look at each other. Our contact was broken when the train stopped at the next station. Someone pushed him in order to get out and he fell on me partially.

"Sorry!"

He whispered standing back straight.

I tucked my hair behind my ear and mumble an 'its ok'.

God! Why am I feeling so shy? Why is my heartbeat so frantic.

The whole journey I kept looking away and he kept covering me.

I station arrived and he held my hand and pulled me in front of him. He made way through his arms such that no one would touch me.

We came out of the station.

He suggested that we walk home.

He was walking with a smile on his face and was looking ahead.

"Thank you. Train mai meri help krne ke liye."

(For helping me in tarin.)

He waved his hand in a nothing and said.

"Come on. We are friends now. I would never let my friend feel uncomfortable. Aur tum toh itni special ho."

(And you are special.)

"Achha! Wo kaise?"

(Really! How so?)

He looked at me and then looked back at front.

"Ho bas. Ab har cheez ka reason thodi na hota hai."

(You are. Everything doesn't have a reason.)

I smile and say.

"Hota hai. Reason toh har cheez ka hota."

(There is. There is a reason to everything.)

I stop and turn to him and he turns to me.

"Bas aap keh nhi skte. Ya kehna nhi chahte."

(You just can't say. Or don't want to say.)

He looks into my eyes and smiles.

"Yu hi samajhlo."

(As you think.)

The look in his eyes makes me shy and I turn and start walking trying to hide my smile.

He comes beside he and we walk till home.

We stand in front of my building and he looks at me.

"Aisa kya dekh rhe hai. Thodi der mai aap bhi yahi aa rhe hai. Dinner ke liye."

(What are you looking at. You are also coming here in some time. For dinner.)

He chuckled and motioned me to go inside.

I waved my hand at him and went inside.

I went to my room and freshened up.

Coming out of the washroom I slumped on the bed.

A dreamy sigh came on my face.

What is happening to me? Why am I behaving like this?

After some time the doorbell rings and I welcome him in with a smile.

We sit down and have dinner talking in between.

Rudra stayed back for some time and we discussed random things. It was his time to go back and I don't know why I started feeling bad.

And that's when I realised. I have a crush on Rudra.
