Around a week after everyone got to know about their relationship, Aadrik had taken Ditya out on a date.

It wasn't a planned one. Well, for her it wasn't.

According to her, she had come to Aadrik's cafe and he wanted to try out a new restaurant nearby. Well, that's what he said.

So, they are sitting in the restaurant at a private corner. Ditya was telling him something about her latest customer. She noticed he looked a little nervous.

She held his hand and asked if he was alright and he nodded smiling slightly.

Their order was served and Ditya giggled seeing a ring design in her coffee.

"Aadrik! Look at this! So pretty!"

She giggled and looked at him. She gasped seeing him on his knee with a ring in his hand.

"Will you marry me Ditya?"

She kept looking at him open mouthed. She kept a hand over her mouth as she laughed happily. 

"Oh my God! I- ek shart par."

(On one condition.)

She said smiling and he frowned.

"Zindagi bhar apne haath ka khaana khilana padega."

(You will have to feed your handmade food for lifetime.)

He chuckled and nodded. She kissed him softly and he made her wear the ring. She hugged him tightly.

"So you finally accept you love my food."

She hummed and hid her face in his chest and he chuckled and kissed her head.

The families were informed about the decision and the wedding dates were finalised.

The wedding was to be held two and a half months later. 

The preparations and shopping were started. Ditya was really happy and was glowing beautifully.

Aadrik was no less. He was behaving like a love sick puppy.

The time had passed by quickly much to Aadrik's happiness. 

Tomorrow is their engagement and today they were going to the venue.

The next day everyone woke up early. The rituals were going on.

Ditya's beauticians were there by 2 pm and she was getting ready.

She was ready by 7pm and was doing her photoshoot with her brother and bhabhi.

Tanvi asked them to come down. She went down with her brother and Kiara by her side.

Aadrik's Tika ceremony was already done and he was sitting on a sofa in front of the stage.

He heard the music change and his eyes automatically moved towards the entrance. He smiled softly seeing her walking towards the stage.

She looked nervous but the glow of happiness was clearly visible on her face.

She was made to sit on the center of the stage with the ladies of Aadrik's family surrounding her.

Her Godh ceremony was done and then she was made to sit with Aadrik.

The stage was cleared for the dance function. 

Ditya and Aadrik performed last and after that was the ring exchanging ceremony.

Everyone clapped and hooted loudly as Aadrik sat on his knee to make her wear the ring.

The photo session started and the couple was taken to the dinner table after about two hours.

After dinner, everyone retired to their rooms. Ditya and Aadrik lay on their beds thinking about each other. 

They slept with each other's thoughts and awaiting the new phase of their lives.

The next day was Haldi ceremony which was organised in two different halls.

First was the Tel Chadana ritual and after that was the Haldi. By the end of it both Aadrik and Ditya were drenched in yellow colour thanks to their siblings.

They were sent to take a bath. They came down again for a puja where holy threads were tied on their wrists and ankles.

The rest of the day was free so everyone gathered in the halls they were allotted and played games and watched movies.

The next day was Mehandi. It was organised in a common hall. Ditya and Aadrik were made to sit on the opposite corners.

Ditya sat with the artists after breakfast and started to get her legs done first.

By lunch her legs and front hands were done. 

By evening her mehandi was almost dry and the dj too was started.

She was enjoying seeing everyone dance. One of her friends pulled her on stage and they started dancing.

They pulled her parents too. Abeer was getting emotional seeing Ditya which made her emotional too. The dj changed the song and everyone looked at Abeer and Ditya. Abeer hugged her close as they danced.

She pulled back wiping her tears and wiped her father's tears too. He kissed her head and left the stage trying to control himself. Anay asked the dj to change the music and soon everyone danced forgetting the emotional moment.

Everyone danced till almost midnight. They then had their dinner and slowly everyone started dispersing to their rooms.

Ditya changed her clothes and sat on the bed. She was suddenly hit by a plethora of emotions and so she went to her parents' room. 

Tanvi opened the door and smiled seeing her there. She got in the bed with her parents on either side and they talked for some time trying to calm her and themselves.

She slept between them just like she used to when she was a baby.

The day everyone was waiting for with so much eagerness was finally here. 

The pre-wedding rituals were going on. 

Ditya's beauticians were there by 2 pm. She was ready by almost 7 pm and was getting her photoshoot done.

Around an hour later Tanvi and Abeer came in the room to take her down. Tanvi smiled seeing Ditya all ready and put a Kala Teeka behind her ear.

Abeer kissed her head and she held both of theirs hands and they went down.

Ivaan and her cousins held the Phoolon ka Chadar over her head as she walked towards the stage.

Aadrik was looking at her without blinking. She looked truly beautiful. He just couldn't take his eyes off her.

He forwarded his hand to help her on the stage. She smiled and took his hand. 

Everyone hooted as he helped her up. Even after she was on the stage he didn't leave her hand.

Everyone gathered around the stage for the Jaimala. 

Ditya made Aadrik wear the varmala. Just as he was about to do the same, Ivaan picked her up and said.

"Not so easily brother."

He said smirking. Aadrik looked at Ditya and motioned something from his eyes and she shook her head. She was enjoying everything so much. He made a face and then looked at Anay and his cousins. Anay and Vihaan picked him up and he smirked at Ditya. He made her wear the varmala and everyone hooted and clapped.
