Sanvi was having her breakfast when she saw her parents look at her as if wanting to say something.

"Kya bolna hai? Bol do."

(What do you want to say? Say.)

She said while sipping her coffee.

"Kuch socha hai tune. Adhyay ke papa ke baare mai?"

(Have you thought of something. About Adhyay's father?)

Her mother asked and she closed her eyes in irritation. Taking a deep breath she asked calmly.

"Kya sochna hai mumma?"

(What is there to think mumma?)

 "Tu usse Adhyay ke baare mai kab bta rhi hai?"

(When are you telling him about Adhyay?)

Sanvi looked at her as if wanting to say something but controlled herself.

"Really mumma?"

"Haan beta. Hospital se pata chal jaayega about his father and phir-"

(You will get to know about him from hospital and then-)

"And phir what? Mai usse bta du? What if wo already married hua? Uske already bachhe ho? Mai usko ye bta kr uski life spoil kr du. Uss hospital ki galti ki saja uss insaan ko du?"

(And then what? I tell him? What if he is already married? What if he already has kids? I spoil his life telling him this. Punish him for the hospital's deed?)

Sanvi finally spoke out in irritation. Tears started forming in her eyes as she remembered the incident.

Taking a deep breath and controlling her anger she said.

"Aaplogo ko itni problem hai toh mai Adhyay ko lekar kahi aur shift ho jaaungi."

(If you have so much problem then i will shift somewhere else with Adhyay.)

"Nhi beta aisa nhi hai. Hum bas tere future ke baare mai thoda pareshaan hai. Teri khushi ko lekar pareshaan hai."

(No beta its not that. We are just worried about your future. Worried about your happiness.)

Her father spoke up and she smiled at his loving tone.

"Mai khush hu papa. Meri khushi Adhyay mai hai aur aap logo mai hai. Jab tak aap teeno mere saath ho mujhe kuch nhi chahiye. Lekin aapko agar iss baat ki tension hai  ki log kya bolenge toh mai-"

(I am happy papa. My happiness is in Adhyay and you people. Till you three are with me i don't need anything. But if you are worried about what will people say then-)

"Thappad lagaungi ek. Bhut badi ho gyi hai na tu jo itni badi badi baatein kr rhi hai. Chinta hoti hai hume bas teri."

(I will give you a tight slap. You have grown up so much that you are talking like this. We are worried about you.)

Her mother said emotionally and Sanvi got up to hug her.

"Sorry! Aapko pata hai mujhe iss baare mai baat krna bilkul pasand nhi hai."

(You know i don't like talking about this.)

Her mother kissed her head and hugged her close.

Just then she heard a wail and said.

"Uth gye nawabzaade."

(The king is awake.)

Her parents smiled and she went in her room. A wide smile formed on her face seeing her six months old son lying on the bed looking at her with wide eyes. He gave her a wide toothless smile and her heart melted.

The only good thing that the incident had left her with was her son, Adhyay. She picked him up in her arms and kissed his cheek making him squeal.

She went out with him and he made grabby hands towards his nani. Preeti took the little bundle of joy in her arms and he cuddled into her. Sanvi kissed his head and went out taking her bag. Se had to do a few things.

She went to a nearby chemist shop and got some of Adhyay's medicines. He was keeping ill from some days. She then went to a supermarket store to get a few things for him. She did not take a trolley as she needed only a few things. She was moving towards the billing counter after collecting the things she needed when her phone rang.

"Haan mumma?"

(Yes mumma?)

"Sanvi! Adhyay behosh ho gaya hai. Uth nhi raha pta nhi kya hua?"

(Adhyay has fainted. He isn't waking up?)

Her mother sounded panicked and Sanvi felt her heart stop hearing her words.

"Kya matlab uth nhi raha?"

(What do you mean not waking up?)

She asked in a scared voice.

"Khel rha tha tere papa ke saath ki achanak unki god mai behosh ho gaya. Hospital le kar jaa rhe hai hum."

(He was playing with your father and fainted in his lap. We are taking him to the hospital.)

Sanvi immediately rushed towards the counter. She felt like she was dying inside. 

She wasn't looking where she was going and banged hard into someone.

She looked at the person and apologized. She bent down to pick her stuff when he asked her if everything was alright. She didn't know why but she told him about her son.

Not wasting anymore time she rushed to the billing counter and quickly drove to the hospital her mother had told.

She inquired at the reception about the ward number and rushed.

She entered the ward and her knees wobbled seeing her baby covered with tubes.

"Adhi!"

Her throat clogged and she felt all her energy drain.

Her father caught her and tried to calm her but her tears were not stopping.

She saw the doctor come out and asked him.

"Kya hua hai mere bete ko?"

(What happened to my son?)

"He has a hole in his heart. Blood levels bhut low hai isliye hum abhi koi treatment shuru nhi kr skte. We need immediate blood transfusion."

(Blood levels are very low so we can't start the treatment now.)

He said and asked the nurse to check in the blood bank.

'Your son has a very rare blood group. Aapki family mai kisi ka blood group AB- hai?"

(Does someone has AB- blood group in your family.)

Sanvi shook her head and the doctor asked.

"His father maybe?"

Her parents looked at her and Sanvi said.

"He doesn't have a father."

The doctor looked at her and nodded not wanting to invade her privacy.

The nurse came back looking tense and informed him that their blood bank was out of the required blood group.

Sanvi looked at him very tensed. The doctor accompanying him said.

"Hey relax! Agar aapke known mai koi hai jo same blood group ka ho toh-"

(If someone in your knows has this blood group then-)

Sanvi shook her head as tears flew down her eyes. 

"Fine! I'll call someone. Tension mat lo. Nothing will happen to your son."

(Don't worry.)

A few minutes later, Sanvi saw three men walk towards them. She recognised one of them from the one she met in the morning. Their eyes met and she looked at him with hope.

The doctor took them for blood samples. He came out after the results and looked at her very seriously. He said something about the person she met in the morning, Ayansh's DNA matching 49% which made the other doctor shocked.

The blood transfusion was done successfully. The doctor asked them to follow him to his cabin as he wanted to talk about something important. Sanvi noticed him looking at her very seriously.

The followed him in and took their seats.

"Kya hua doctor? Adhi thik ho jaayega na?"

(What happened doctor? Adhi will be alright?)

Her mother asked and the doctor nodded.

"Tension mat lijiye. Wo bilkul thik ho jaayega. Blood levels normal aa rha hai. Kal hum uska treatment kr sakenge."

(Don't worry. He will be absolutely fine. Blood levels are coming to normal. We can start his treatment tomorrow.)

He said and Sanvi took a huge breath of relief as she wiped her tears.

"Lekin mujhe wo baat nhi krni thi."

(But i didn't want to talk abou that.)

He said looking at Sanvi.

"Who is Adhyay's father Miss Sanvi?"

He asked her and she looked at him. She looked at parents and then looked away mumbling.

"I told you doctor. He doesn't have a father."
