Chapter 1

Ayansh Singhania is the younger son of Sakshi and Adarsh Singhania and is the most notorious among all the siblings.

He had literally taken up after his father and pledged to spoil all of his siblings kids.

Everyone knew he loved his nephews and nieces and they were sure that one day he would he a great father to his children.

Ayansh was sitting in his cabin when he received his mother's call.

"Haan mumma."

(Yes mumma.)

He said picking up the call.

"Sun tujhe list bhej rhi hu. Jaldi se sara saaman ghar par chhudwa de."

(I am sending you the list. Quickly send the stuff home.)

He looked at the list his mother had sent and whined.

"Tsk! Mumma! Yaar grocery! Aur koi nhi hai kya?"

(Can't you ask someone else?)

He absolutely despised getting grocery.

"Hota toh tujhe bolti mai. Chal jaa. Jaldi bhejna."

(If there was someone i would have never asked you. Now go. Send quickly.)

"Agar kharab aayi toh kehna mat mujhe."

(If it is not good don't blame me.)

He mumbled.

"Dhang se dekh kr laayega toh kharab nhi aayenge."

(If you'll get it carefully it won't be bad.)

She retorted and he whined but got up nonethesless.

He was thankful that they had a supermarket store just opposite their office.

Ayansh entered the store and started filling the items that his mother had mentioned in the list.

He made a fowl face reading the grocery items and went to the section dragging his trolley.

After getting everything his mother asked he was moving towards the billing counter when his eyes fell on the chocolates section.

He stopped and collected around 10 chocolates of almost every company availabe.

He turned around to put them in the trolley when someone banged into him very hard resulting in their stuff falling on the ground.

Ayansh held the person to prevent them from falling.

The person opened their eyes and Ayansh saw the most beautiful pair of amber eyes he had ever seen.

He was lost in them. He could recognise the tension and fear in her eyes.

He helped her stand properly and she immediately started apologizing.

"I am really sorry. Mera dhyan nhi tha. Aapko lagi toh nhi na."

(I wasn't paying attention. I hope you are not hurt.)

He shook his head in a daze and she bent down to collect her things that fell down.

He too bend down and started picking up his chocolates but his eyes never got off her.

He noticed that she looked in a hurry and was very tensed. Her hands were shaking while picking up her things.

"Aap thik hai?"

(Are you okay?)

She looked at him as her lips wobbled slightly. She bit her lip to control her tears and nodded as she picked up her things.

"You look scared. You sure you're ok?"

A tear finally fell out of her eye and she sniffled.

"My son is in the hospital."

She said and another tear fell off her eye.

He felt an ache in his heart. Was it because of her tears, her son or because she had a son. He didn't know.

"He'll be fine."

He said and she smiled lightly.

She quickly left from there leaving Ayansh with his thoughts.

He didn't know why someone who he just met could affect him like this. Hearing about her son, he felt a dull ache in his heart. He prayed for his recovery.

Trying to shake off his thoughts he moved towards the billing counter and moved out.

He gave the stuff except his chocolates to the driver who took it home.

He was sitting in his cabin, nibbling on his chocolate as his thoughts wandered to the woman again.

'Stop thinking about her Ayansh. She has a son and is probably married.'

He thought closing his eyes and her amber eyes came in front of him. He groaned and opened his eyes.

He started doing his work to distract himself.

He was working on a file his cabin door opened and Kiaan came in.

"Papa ka call tha. Ahana bhabhi ne bola hai they need AB- donors."

(It was papa's call. Ahana bhabhi said they need AB- donors.)

Ayansh nodded and closed the file getting up.

He along with Kiaan and Adrash reached the hospital.

They met Ahana at the reception and she led them inside.

Ayansh was surprised to the same woman he met earlier. She was trying to control her tears and her eyes were red and wet from crying.

"The baby has a hole in his heart. Abhi immediately kuch nhi kr skte kyunki blood levels bhut low hai. We need immediate blood."

(We can't do anything right now because blood levels are very low.)

Reyansh said and Ayansh's eyes moved to the woman who was looking at them with hopes and tears in her eyes.

Their eyes met and she looked at Ayansh with so much hope that it made his heart skip a beat.

"Hum pehle blood samples lenge aur DNA match krenge."

(We will take bloood samples first and then match the DNAs.)

"But bhai hamare dna kaise match ho skte hai?"

(How will our DNAs match?)

Kiaan asked genuinely confused.

"Har kisi dna kuch percent se match hote hai. Aap mai se jiska sabse jyada hoga we will use that person's blood."

(Everyone's DNA matches from some percent. Whoevers will be the highest we will use the person's blood.)

He explained and took them inside for the blood samples.

Reyansh came out bringing the results. Everyone looked at him waiting for him to say something.

"Kya hua bhai?"

(What happened bhai?)

Ayansh asked seeing Reyansh's conflicted face. He looked at him grimly and said.

"Jaise result expect kia tha waisa bilkul bhi nhi hai. Aap teeno ke DNAs match nicely. But Ayansh ka sabse jyada hai. 49%."

(The result i expected is the total opposite of what i got. All three of yours DNAs match nicely. Ayansh's is the highest."

He said looking at the woman. Ahana's eyes widened listening to him and she looked him and then the woman.

She was confused as to why the two were looking at her.

"Toh ye toh achhi baat hai na? I mean i can donate right?"

(Then this is good right?)

Ayansh asked and Reyansh nodded grimly.

Ahana was still looking at the woman confused.

Ayansh went in the ward the baby was. He felt his breath stop seeing the baby's condition. A tear fell from his eyes unknown to him.

He looked away not able to see his condition and laid down on the bed adjacent to him.

Reyansh started the procedure of blood transfusion and Ayansh's eyes involuntarily moved to the baby.

He looked not more than 6 months and seeing so many tubes attached to his chest made his chest heavy.

Reyansh asked him to relax and he took a deep breath and closed his eyes as the process started.

The baby's blood levels were slowly coming to normal. Ayansh felt a smile form on his face seeing the relief on the woman's face.

Reyansh asked everyone to follow him into his cabin saying that he wanted to talk about something while eyeing the woman seriously.

Everyone followed him and took their seats inside his cabin and waited for him to speak.
