Reyansh was shocked to see her call. He picked it up and said.
"Hii."
"Umm-hii."
"Itni raat ko call kiya. Sab thik?"
(You called so late. All okay?)
'Now what? Kya bolu?'
'Umm let me think.'
"Umm wo umm galti se lag gaya tha. Byee."
(I called by mistake.)
"Ahana. Kya baat hai?"
(What is it?)
He asked her so softly that she felt her heart melting.
"Wo maine aise hi mila lia tha. Sorry."
(I called like this only.)
She mumbled making him smile.
"Don't be. Neend nhi aa rhi?"
(Not sleepy?)
"Nhi."
(No.)
"Okay. Let's talk."
And they spent the night talking about general things. He talked to her till her heard her soft breathing indicated that she slept.
He didn't know how his gesture had made a little more place for himself in her little heart.

The next day was Mehandi. Everyone woke up early and had their breakfast. Some elder ladies and Ahana sat down to get their mehandis done.
The mehandi was organised in a common hall but Ahana and Reyansh were sitting in opposite corners so that they could not see each other.
Ahana first decided to get her legs done so that it could be easier later. She was looking at everyone dancing and clapped and enjoyed.
After lunch, everyone again started dancing. Ahana's front hands were done. They pulled her along and they danced for around 15 minutes.
After Ahana went to back and continued with her mehandi they pulled Reyansh along.
She caught a glimpse of his face and looking at his smile a smile formed on her lips too.
Her thoughts went to last night. How he talked to her for almost all the night so that she could sleep peacefully.
Reyansh was going towards the rooms as Karan had asked him to get something from his room.
He looked at her side to get a look at her but she was facing the other side talking to Arohi.

The next day was the most awaited one. There was a cluster of noise everywhere. Everyone was roaming around to get their work done.
All the boys were looking after the decorations, catering and rest of the things.
Ahana was ready by 6 pm. She was sitting on the bed fidgeting with her fingers when her parents came in.
Advik had tears in his eyes. The only thought in his mind was, 'Betiyan itni jaldi badi kyu ho jaati hai yaar.'
Looking at Advik getting emotional Ahana too felt her eyes pool with tears. Advik shook his head at her and kissed her head softly.
She hugged him and bit her lip to control her tears. Chhaya put Kala Tika on her and retouched her makeup.
Arnav and her cousins held a Phoolon ka Chadar over her head and they went out.
Reyansh saw her coming towards her and he felt his breath stop. He didn't have words to decribe what he felt at the moment.
He held his hand forward for her as she neared the stage. She looked up at him feeling a plethora of emotions.
She slowly gave him her hand and he clasped it tightly in his. Everyone hooted making them blush lightly.
Samaira and Nyra got the varmalas. Everyone gathered around for the Jaimala. Ahana made her wear the varmala followed by him.
The photo session started which took more then 2 hours. Ahana's legs were paining due to standing in heels.
She sighed in relief when they were finally taken to the dinner table. She immediately removed her sandals and slumped against the seat.
Since it was her fast she did not eat anything. Reyansh denied saying he was not hungry.
After dinner Reyansh was taken to the mandap while Ahana went to the room to relax her legs.
She was called after half an hour. The priest started chanting the mantras as Ahana sat beside and Arohi did their Gathbandhan.
Advik and Chhaya were called forward to do her Kanyadaan. Ahana's eyes were filled with unshed tears.
They then got up for the Pheras after which Ahana sat on Reyansh's left side.
Reyansh made her wear the Mangalsutra and did the Sindurdan. The tear fell from her eyes. She smiled and looked up at him.
He was already smiling at her.
She was finally married. She was finally Ahana Reyansh Aggarwal.
The priest declared the wedding to be complete and the couple got up to take the elder's blessings.
A short and fun ritual called Chhand Sunai was done.
The Juta Chhupai Nek was given. Ahana was pouting all along and glaring at her good for nothing brother who could not even get a pair of shoes.
Then came the part Ahana was dreading. Bidaai. She was throwing the raw rice in her mother's chunri while trying to control her sobs.
She hugged her father tightly and cried in his chest. She saw Arnav standing near her mother trying to control his tears.
"Tu ro rha hai?"
(You are crying?)
"Pagal hai kya? Khushi ke aansu hai. Chhutkara mila tujhse."
(Are you mad? They are happy tears. I am finally free from you.)
He said teasing her but the tear that fell from his eyes gave it away. He hugged her tight and said to Reyansh.
"Dhyan rakhna bhai iska please. Thodi jhalli hai lekin jaan hai meri."
(Please take care of her. She is a little crazy but she is my life.)
Reyansh gave him a brotherly hug and assured him.
They sat in the car and drove off to their house.
Ahana was sniffing and wiping her tears with his handkerchief. He pulled her to his side and kept her head on his shoulder making her eyes widen.
He patted her head lightly and whispered.
"It's okay. Relax."
She relaxed against him and slept in some time with him continuously caressing her hair and humming softly. He kept his head over hers and kissed her head.
They reached the house. All of his cousins were staying there till the rasams. Adi ran inside shouting 'Bahu aa gyi.'
His sisters gathered around the gate for the Bar Rukai ritual. They were then taken to the living room where another ritual was waiting for them.
Reyansh slid the plates with neem sticks and Ahana picked them up without making much noise. After a short puja they opened their fast by eating Moong Rice.
Ahana and Reyansh were made to sleep in separate rooms as their wedding night would be after the rest of the rituals. ************************************** They are finally married!
