A sweet aroma hit his nostrils as soon as he entered his home after a long jogging and exercise session. Going straight to the breakfast table he saw his favourite Aalo ka Parantha with Dahi and Aachar being served on the table.

He was about to take a bite of the same when he heard his mother.

"Pehle naha kar aa. Saara paseeno mai ho rkha hai."

(Go and take a bath first. You are so sweaty.)

"Mumma. Please bhut bhuk lagi hai. Khaa kar nahane chala jaaunga. Pkaa."

(I am really hungry. After having it I'll take a bath. Promise.)

He said in a sweet, innocent tone to pacify her. She only glared at him and he went to his room with his head hung.

Utkarsh Sharma. One thing about him is that he loves computers, the only reason of his doing an integrated BCA degree. His other passion is Badminton.

It was his daily schedule to wake up at 5 in the morning. Go for a jog and do his exercise routine. The result was his taut and muscular physique which made girls swoon at him.

Another striking feature of his was his 6"3 height.

Coming out of the bathroom after taking a bath, he got ready for his college. Today was his match with the rival college.

Three things he loved going to college for were: First, Computers. Second, Badminton and Third, her.

He had his breakfast and then left for the college. He met his coach who was giving him some instructions.

Walking to the court, he was listening to what his coach was saying when he looked towards the stands. He saw her standing with two of her best friends.

Their eyes met for a moment when his coach got his attention again.

The game started and Utkarsh won by 21-18. Everytime he scored a point, he flailed his arms in the air and his eyes moved to the stands in her direction.

He gave his friends a treat in the canteen. She was also their with her friends. The constant smile on her face bought a smile on his lips too.

He had always felt a comforting and pleasant aura around her. Even after being the most pampered and loved child of the richest family in the country she was not spoilt even a bit.

He still remembered how he saw her first time.

It was her first year and his third. Some boys from the second year were bullying a group of girls who were probably freshers too.

He was about to go and teach the boys a good lesson when she came in between like a queen she is. She started scolding the boys who were almost half a feet taller than her.

One of them made an inappropriate comment on her and she gave a tight slap on his face. This angered the boy and he was about to hit her back when he intervened.

He kept holding the boy's hand tightly in grip and just glared at him with such intensity which seemed to have scared the boys.

"Say sorry."

He said in a dangerous voice. The boys gulped and said sorry. He left the boy's hand they ran away from there.

He didn't know what was special in her but something in her attracted him a lot.

It was his final year but still did not have the courage to approach her directly. During the three years many boys have proposed her and all of them were rejected.

Some of them even got slaps though the fault was theirs. He was not scared of rejection but of the fact that she might start hating him.

He went back home and told his mother about his game. His favourite dishes were made for dinner.

They were sitting together watching a movie. He was getting bored and decided to have some fun. He saw Pranati sitting peacefully and watching the movie.

Quietly moving towards her he gave a hard pat on her back. She gave a stinky look and gave a smack in return. And this is how their fight started.

Anju reminded them that they have to go shopping the next day. Utkarsh who was not aware of the same asked what it was about.

"Arre. Vaibhav jiju suggested that hum sab ek saath shopping kr lenge. Un logo ke shaadi ke kapde bhi finalise ho jaayenge aur hamari shopping bhi ho jaayegi."

(That we do the shopping together. Their wedding dresses would be finalised and our shopping would be done.)

Pranati explained. Utkarsh's eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Sab matlab? Unke bhai behen bhi aa rhe hai kya?"

(Everyone means? His siblings are also coming?)

Pranati nodded and then went back to watch the movie while Utkarsh just sat there thinking about the next day.

He was excited to see her. Maybe he could even talk to her. But what if she just denied on his face. Or even start hating him.

No! He would not give her any reason to. He excused himself and went to his room. He slumped back on his bed and sighed.

A dreamy smile making its way on his lips.

"Hey Bhagwaan! Bas ek baar usse baat krwa do. Aur kuch nhi chahiye. Please."

(Oh God! Just let me talk to her once. Nothing else. Please.)

He prayed to God unaware that God had actually heard his prayer. He had heard both of their prayers. And he sure was going to get a lot of shocks and surprises in the next few months.

The next day he woke up on his usual time. Went for a jog and did his exercise routine. He took a bath and got ready.

He took special efforts to get ready.

He was so excited that he was ready almost an hour early. His mother was shocked to see him. He had always been in denial to go somewhere. He loved to be at home with his computer. But today he was ready on his own and that too early.

They reached the showroom and Pranati and Yug went inside while Utkarsh parked the car. He kept a hand over his heart which was beating at an abnormal rate.

He opened the gate and entered in. He saw his cousins standing with Vaibhav and his siblings.

His eyes met with her shocked ones and a smile formed on his lips.
