Both of them knew the other was flirting with them but it didn't get weird or uncomfortable. In fact it was pretty amazing. They felt nice in each other's company.

And there was no stopping after that. They were together the entire trip but unfortunately Bhavya had her flight back home a few hours earlier than him, so they had to part ways.

She kept smiling while remembering the time they spent together. He didn't even touch her when not needed but the way he showed his unspoken care, made her feel so special.

Aadarsh too couldn't get her off his mind even after a month of returning back to India.

He was currently at the general store getting the ‘Ghar ka Rashan’ that his mother had ordered him to get. He had cribbed because she woke him up at 7 in the morning.

He didn't even bother changing and was there in his sweatpants and tshirt only. He was walking while looking at the shelves for the things he needed with his trolley in front of him when it banged into someone else's.

He started saying sorry to the person only to look at her wide eyed. Bhavya matched his expression and they kept looking at each other for a minute before Aadarsh spoke.

“You're real?”

She frowned and tilted her head in confusion.

“Obviously! How can someone not be real?”

“No! I mean…I…nevermind.”

He mumbled. Now he couldn't tell her that he had imagined meeting her so many times that he didn't know the difference between reality and his imagination anymore.

“You live here? In Delhi?”

She nodded and he chuckled.

“Wow! We spent an entire trip together and neither of us knew that we live in the same city.”

Bhavya bit her lip. Why was she feeling butterflies around him today? He gave a comforting homey feeling dressed so casually.

And she doesn't have to mention how yummy his ass looked in those grey sweatpants. She was herself surprised at her thoughts. When did she become such a pervert?

“Bhavya?”

He called as they reached his car.

“Coffee peene chalogi mere saath?”

The hopeful tone that he used didn't go unnoticed by her. He didn't mean this as a friend right? His gaze said he didn't.

“Coffee?”

She confirmed and he nodded.

“Or whatever you like to have.”

“Right now?”

“If you want.”

She bit her lip and thought about it a little. He had left the string in her hands. It was up to her whether to pull it or leave it hanging.

“Ok.”

His eyes sparkled and he kept both of their stuff in his car. She sat in the passenger seat and he drove off to the nearest cafe.

They took their seats, both of them still in their casual clothes.

They chit chatted for a long time. Bhavya realised the time only when her phone rang indicating her mother's call. Her eyes widened and she looked at him with shock.

“Hello? Mumma?”

Aadarsh got alert and looked at the time himself. It was 1pm already?

“Kaha reh gyi hai Bhavi? 1 baj raha hai. Teen ghante ho gye h gye huye.”

“Haan mumma wo…umm…ek friend mil gaya tha. Ussi ke saath hu. Nikal rhi hu bas.”

Aadarsh called for the bill and Bhavya kept her share which was royally ignored. She pushed it in his hands but he glared at her sharply and declined.

“Tch! I also had it na.”

She objected but he shook his head.

“It's my treat!”

“Phir toh I'll also have to give you a treat.”

She said playfully and he nodded with a grin.

“Deal! So when are we meeting again?”

He asked excitedly and she chuckled. She said she'd coordinate over a call and he nodded showing her a thumbs  up.

“Sorry sorry sorry!”

Bhavya chanted as soon as she reached home and saw her mother sitting in the living room.

“Kaunsa friend tha aisa? Yaha pr toh ek hi dost h teri. Aur wo bhi filhaal kaam se abroad reh rhi h.”

Bhavya bit her lip and looked away pretending to be busy in placing the things she brought at their allotted places.

“Abhi jis trip pr gyi thi na, waha mila tha.”

“Hmm! Naam kya hai iss ‘dost’ ka?”

“Mumma? Aise kyu keh rhe ho?”

She whined at her mother's teasing tone.

“Kya? Maine kya bola? Tune hi bola dost hai. Mai toh bas naam puchh rhi hu ‘dost’ ka.”

She did it again and Bhavya pouted and told his name.

“Kitne saal ka hai?”

“Tch! Ye kya biodata le rhe ho kya? Usse mangwa deti hu! Dekh lena.”

“Haan ye sahi hai. Papa ko bhi asaani ho jaayegi.”

“Mumma yaar! Kya hai?”

Bhavya whined, hiding her red cheeks. Her mother laughed and kissed her head, sparing her for the time being.

Bhavya met Aadarsh the next week. Aadarsh was not letting her pay this time too.

“It's my treat! You promised you'll let me pay.”

She glared at him and he gave her a stern look back.

“Don't give me that look. I am paying this time.”

Aadarsh sat back and looked at her. He then smirked and said with a teasing tone.

“Fine! Kr lo aaj pay. Next time se pure haq se pay krunga. And won't stop me.”

Their eyes met and she saw a promise in his.

“Achha? Wo kaise?”

She asked with an equally playful tone.

“Next time tak meri girlfriend ho jaaogi na.”

She looked at him surprised but composed herself and raised her eyebrow.

“How are you so sure? Maine mana kr dia toh?”

“Toh mai mana lunga.”

“Aur wo kaise?”

He leaned in and looked into her eyes very seriously before whispering.

“Bhut saara pyaar krke.”

She blushed and picked her bag.

“Let's go! Late ho raha hai.”

“Arre haan toh kehti jaao.”

He sprang up and rushed behind her. She turned and looked at him with a smile.

“Abhi maani nhi hu. Aur manao! Aur phir next time dobara puchhna. Tab dekhenge.”

He nodded and held her hand. He placed a soft kiss on her knuckles while looking into her eyes.

“Ok.”

She blushed and looked away.

“Ab mujhe ghar chhodo. Late ho rhi hu mai.”

He nodded and bowed before her.

“After you, your highness!”

She giggled and sat inside and he chuckled sitting on the driver's seat.
