“Hi! Wow! We did meet really soon.”
She giggled and he chuckled.
“We did.”
Her gaze fell on his camera and she looked at him.
“Can you click a picture of me?”
She asked, pointing towards the camera. He nodding angling it towards her and she posed. He smiled and clicked a few pictures of her.
She too offered to click his and because she was no expert at handling a professional camera and didn't want to take a risk, she clicked them from her phone.
They then exchanged numbers so that they could forward each other's pictures.
Bhavya then took her leave because she had to pack her bags. She had a bus to Cappadocia in a few hours.
What they weren't aware of was that both of them were travelling to the same place, at the same time and in the same bus.
Bhavya sat on her reserved seat and sighed. She clicked a few pictures and then kept her phone down.
She rested her head back and closed her eyes. Bhavya was among those people who slept during transit.
Aadarsh groaned in annoyance. He was getting late to catch his bus. And there was not even one damn cab available.
He finally stopped an empty one and the moment he reached his bus, he was ushered in and the bus started in a minute’s time.
They were waiting only for him. Aadarsh took his seat and sighed. Five minutes in and he was finally settled.
He looked around the bus. There were tourists from various countries. His gaze stopped on a particular one from his own country.
What kind of coincidences were happening with them? She was here too? He chuckled to himself and then looked at her sleeping form again.
A permanent smile was left on his lips and his eyes kept betraying him, going towards her. It was around 10 at night when they reached Cappadocia.
Bhavya was woken up by a fellow passenger whom she thanked. She collected her stuff and they started descending.
Aadarsh wanted to greet her but decided against it lest she thinks he was following her or something. He proceeds towards the hotel he booked.
Bhavya reaches hers. She had specifically booked a room in the famous Cave Hotel of Cappadocia. The rooms were cut from actual rocks and were like caves. The only difference was that caves were not that comfortable as this room.
She recorded a video of the room and sat down to write a complete review of the view and the journey till now.
She slept early because the next morning was the Hot Air Balloon at Sunrise. Another thing Cappadocia was famous for. You're in Cappadocia, the Hot Air Balloons are a must.
But for that she has to wake up at 3 so that she could get ready and reach there on time.
Bhavya was completely packed in clothes from her head to toe. It was too cold. And they have to fly in the air where the temperature is even less.
She was rubbing her gloved hands excitedly. Her face was red because of the cold and she looked too cute. They were given their welcome drinks and were briefed about the Do’s and Don'ts and she listened attentively.
It was finally time and all of them were ushered in the balloon. It finally took off and Bhavya felt butterflies in her stomach. The sun rose and she clicked pictures and looked at it in awe.
It was beautiful.
She looked around everyone enjoying with their families and missed hers. Her gaze then fell on a figure clicking pictures.
He turned while still inspecting his camera and she smiled in surprise. He too was here?
Her feet unconsciously moved towards him and she stood before him. Aadarsh looked up seeing someone stop just in front of him and was surprised.
“Hey!”
“Hi!”
They greeted each other. The grin on both of their faces matched with the other.
“Wow! That's some strange coincidence happening! Pehle flight, phir hotel, phir hot spring, then the bus and now here!”
Aadarsh said and Bhavya frowned.
“Bus?”
He nodded and told her that they were on the same bus to Cappadocia.
“Kismat ke ishaara hai Mr. Aadarsh.”
She said playfully while nudging his shoulder and he looked at her shocked. He opened his mouth twice before while speaking.
“Are you flirting with me?”
She bit her lip and shrugged. He chuckled and shook his head.
They were back on land and were walking aimlessly just to spend some extra moments with the other.
“So? What are your plans for the rest of the day?”
Aadarsh asked trying to sound like he didn't care.
“Bhut jyada kuch nhi. I just had a few cafes I wanted to visit to try some famous dishes of theirs. Aur uske baad phir se hotel jaake packing krni hai because I have a night bus to Antalya.”
He looked at her surprised.
“Me too! Which bus? I mean bus number.”
“Umm…I don't remember. Ek minute dekh kr batati hu.”
She pulled out her phone and searched for the bus number. When she read out her ticket, he chuckled.
“At this point, I don't think this is a coincidence anymore. This is something weird happening. I'm on the same bus.”
Bhavya was shocked at first but then smiled playfully.
“Mai toh keh hi rhi hu. Isse kismat ka ishara samjho.”
He poked his cheek with his tongue and leaned towards her while asking in a mischievous tone.
“Kya samjhe?”
“Yahi ki bhagwaan ne aapko baaki ki trip ke liye ek partner de dia. And you don't have to spend the entire trip alone now.”
She shrugged casually as if her heart wasn't beating wildly after saying this. Aadarsh looked at her intensely before smiling and saying.
“Hmmm! Maybe you're right.toh bataiye phir. What is the next stop in your itenary?”
She grinned wide and the two roamed the city together. They got adjacent seats in the bus after having a word with a fellow passenger and gossiped about random things the entire night.
