Dev had smiled and very politely eased his worries.

“Sir, status ki baat kru toh wo kabhi bhi koi issue nhi rahega. Mai hamesha se celebrity nhi tha. Maine aur meri family mai ne wo samay bhi dekha hai jaha hamare paas khaane ko do waqt ki roti tak nhi hoti thi. Paise ki ahmiyat jaanta hu mai. Lekin usse bhi jyada maine uss waqt mai apne parivaar ko saath dekha hai. Mere maa papa chahte toh bhut tareeko se paise kama skte the. Par unhone bhi apne parivaar ko aur rishto ko jyada ahmiyat di. Paise ka kya hai sir, aaj hai kal nhi hoga. Lekin ye rishte life long rahenge,”

Sakshi smiled and held her father’s hand.

“Aur rahi baat din mai hazaron ladkio se milne ki. Wo toh pehle bhi thi na sir. Lekin maine na pehle kabhi kisi ko uss nazar se dekha, aur na aage dekhunga. Pehle nhi dekha kyunki wo mere sanskaar the sir, aaj ke baad nhi dekhunga kyunki wo sanskaaron ke saath saath isliye liye pyaar hai.”

Sakshi smiled through the tears but her father was still not convinced.

“Kehna aasan hai. Time aane pr sab apna rang badal lete hai.”

“Mere life ke idols mere maa papa hai sir. Maine hamesha se dekha hai papa kaise maa ki har chhoti badi khwahish puri krne ki koshish krte the. Paise nhi hote the but wo hamesha unhe apni taraf se khush rakhte the. Mere papa ke paas bhut mauke the, galat kaam krke paise kamane ke. Maa ko dokha dene ke. Pr unhone apna rishta chuna. Apna pyaar chuna. Unki kasam khaa kr kehta hu sir, zindagi bhar pyaar krunga isse. I will never cheat on her. Na kabhi physically aur na kabhi emotionally.”

It still took her father some time to trust him but he finally gave his blessings. And soon as he did, Dev popped the question. Sakshi was not expecting it at all. He hadn’t given any grand gestures because she liked simple and genuine confessions better than show off ones. But the question brought tears to her eyes.

They were married in a grand but private ceremony three months after his proposal. The internet went wild seeing another eligible bachelor being taken. And not to mention his female fan who went crazy seeing his wedding pictures.

It had been a month since their marriage but sadly they had to spend the month apart because the day after their wedding rituals were completed, he had to fly for a tournament. She couldn’t leave her work because she had been given a promotion and her own weekly show where she interviewed the trending celebrities.

Dev was finally back and after spending the entire day with the family, he couldn’t wait to have his wife to himself. But it seemed like she had different plans. After everyone went to sleep, she asked him.

“Tumhari kal practice hai?”

“For a change, no. Kal rest day hai. Why? Do you have something in mind?”

He asked, sauntering towards her naughtily. She grinned wide and nodded. She held his hand and dragged him to the….kitchen?

“Why are we here?”

Exactly! Why were they in the kitchen and not in their room finally consummating their marriage?

“Because I want to bake. Maine na bhut saari recipes dhundi hai and I also have bought all the ingredients. We’re going to bake!”

She grinned in excitement and he had no heart to deny her. Seemed like his carnal desires would have to wait for another day. But, who cares until she is happy. He kissed her cheek and let her drag him around.

Sakshi was blabbering while doing what the recipe asked. She had melted the chocolate and kept it aside to cool down while she mixed the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.

“Sugar pass kro na Dev!”

He did as asked and planted himself right behind her, caging her between his body and the counter. His hands snaked around her waist and he nuzzled his nose into her neck. She squirmed in his arms and reprimanded him.

“Dev! Mujhe sach mai bake krna hai. Focus!”

“I am focusing where I should. You focus baby!”

He peppered kisses on her cheek from behind. She elbowed his stomach lightly making him oomph. He took a step back but then his gaze fell on the melted chocolate and an evil idea formed in his mind. He tested its temperature and when he was sure that it had cooled down, he dipped his finger in it and smeared some on her cheek.

Sakshi gasped feeling the liquid on her cheek and glared at him. He chuckled and licked her cheek clean. She made a disgusted face and rubbed her cheek.

“Cheee! Dev!”

He laughed loudly at her expressions but her disgusted expressions changed into something else as an idea struck her mind. Dev raised his eyebrow at her change of expressions. She dipped her finger in the chocolate and bit her lip before sensually applying it to her neck.

He gulped and she motioned him with her eyebrows to clean it now. His eyes darkened with desire and took a step closer to her. His hands went around her waist as he pulled her flush against his body.

Snaking an arm around her waist and parting her hair to one side from the other, he tilted her head to have better access to her neck and then his tongue darted out to lick off the dripping chocolate from her neck. She gasped when he sucked on the spot.

A moan escaped her lips when he reached her sensitive spot. When he pulled back from her neck, her chest was heaving with anticipation as they gazed into each other’s desire filled eyes. He took some chocolate and rubbed it on her lower lip before taking it between his lips and sucking it.

She felt her knees buckle as he deepened the kiss and he held her securely, not letting her fall. When he plunged his tongue into her mouth, she pushed his chest and whispered.

“Koi aa jaayega.”

“Sab so rhe hai.”

He whispered back as his lips found their place back to her neck. His lips needed to touch her skin. He felt like he’d die if they were separated from her body. Such was the level of need and desire he felt towards her.

“So rhe hai. Behosh nhi hai. Koi aa gaya toh?”

He held her hand and took the chocolate bowl in the other and walked towards their room. Sakshi blushed seeing the bowl in his hand. What was he planning? Going all Christian Grey on her?
