Right now, the four of them were ok a double movie date.

Rohit and Kartik were out to get two large popcorn tubs while Shreya and Mansi have taken their seats.

They had their seats starting from the very corner. So Mansi and Shreya sat in the middle two seats leaving the corner and the other seat for the two.

Mansi sat on the third seat from the corner. Kartik started getting in beside her when she motioned him through her eyes.

“Ummm..tu andar chala jaa. Mujhe suffocation hoti hai middle mai.”

He made an excuse and Rohit narrowed his eyes but nodded because the movie was about to start.

So now it was Kartik in the corner with Shreya beside him. On Shreya's other side was Mansi who had Rohit beside her.

And because of their seating arrangement, Mansi had to share the popcorn tub with Rohit leaving Kartik and Shreya to share one.

Mansi got immersed in the movie while munching on the popcorn. Somewhere in between, her hand collided with Rohit's inside the popcorn tub.

Their eyes met and Rohit felt his heartbeat accelerate. He removed his hand with a quick tug and clutched the handrest of the other side trying to control his racing heart.

This was his condition with just a touch of her hand. What was he? A horny ass teenager?

Mansi’s mood fell because she thought that he didn't like her touch even.

Rohit sat throughout the movie blushing after all, thankful for the dim lighting of the hall. Kartik was continuously stealing glances at Shreya who was fully engrossed in the movie. She looked so cute lost in the movie while munching on the popcorn.

Mansi was so upset that she didn't have any popcorn after that. Atleast until Rohit whispered in her ear.

“Why are you not having this?”

She turned her face to look at him and oh oh! He was so close because of the whispering. Both of them stopped and just looked into each other's eyes.

Mansi could swear she saw Rohit lean in a little. And Rohit was sure he would have done it if the baby behind them hadn't started bawling.

The baby's mother took him out as everyone stopped to give her annoyed glances. Who brings a little child into a movie theatre? That too a horror movie. Well, horror comedy but still.

Mansi tucked her hair behind her ear and blushed remembering their little moment. She's so going to daydream about it for days now.

Shreya was still looking at the movie when suddenly a jumpscare came. A few shrieks echoed the hall and she too shrieked and hid her face in Kartik's shoulder.

He froze. His heart felt like it would come out of his chest. It skipped a beat and then started beating wildly.

She pulled back and giggled while muttering a sorry and he lost himself in her giggles and innocence.

It had been a week since the amazing movie date. Shreya was sitting in the classroom waiting for the other three to arrive.

Since this dating scenario, they have gotten a lot closer. They were always together.

Since the first lecture was free, the three who lived nearby were running late. Shreya was bored because she had to come from a long distance and she left her place at the usual time.

She was midway when the message of free lecture came and she cursed her fate. Now she'll have to spend the entire hour alone.

Their classroom was mostly empty apart from two other girls who were practicing for an upcoming dance competition.

The girl did a step and Shreya frowned. She didn't have very much knowledge of dancing but the step felt incomplete.

“Umm…Pratiksha! I think you missed something. Ye step thoda incomplete lag raha tha.”

She said politely but the girl got offended.

“Oh really! And what do you know about dancing?”

Shreya was taken aback by the sharp tone. She was a very sensitive girl and got intimidated easily when someone used a loud tone with her.

“Umm…nhi…I…umm…I didn't mean that-”

“So please explain what you meant.”

“Umm…wo…I was just saying ki tumhara step thoda incomplete laga-”

“Aur tum mujhe dancing sikhaogi?”

“Nhi! Mai sikha nhi rhi. As a spectator mujhe jo laga maine-”

“You know what! If you know so much ki tumhe dekhne se hi pata chal gaya ki maine kuch miss kia toh why don't you also join in the competition.”

“I-what?”

She looked shocked and cornered.

“Arre I forgot! Tum toh class se bahar hi nhi nikalti! Tum na bas aise behenji ki tarah baithi rehna ok?”

She taunted and Shreya lowered her head.

“Oyee! Behenji kisko bola?”

She heard a loud voice and saw her best friend raging towards them. She stood beside Shreya and glared at the rude girl who was intimidating her best friend.

“Who else? This bhenji right in front of me.”

The girl was just too arrogant and Mansi hated such people.

“Achha? And why do you think she's a behenji? Just because she's the topper of the class, no! Scratch that! Just because she's the topper of the university since the first semester and you cannot match her intellect, you think she's a behenji? Tum jo first semester se itne boyfriends badal chuki ho mai kru tumhe uske liye slut shame?”

The girl now fumed.

“How dare you!”

“No! How dare you?”

Mansi retorted while Shreya tried to hold her hyper bestie back. She didn't like fights.

“And who said she cannot defeat you? Just because unse kabhi dance kia nhi doesn't mean wo kr nhi skti. Because I know my Shreya can do whatever she wants once she believes in herself.”

“Really? Toh ye raha form! Bhar do competition mai uska naam.”

Shreya's eyes widened when Mansi actually started filling out the Google form.

“Mansi! Pagal hai kya? Jaane de na!”

But Mansi didn't listen.

“Partner?”

She frowned seeing a column for the partner's name in the form.

“Yes! It's a salsa dance. Oops! Sorry! Mai batana bhul gyi thi ye baat. Ab iss behenji, I mean university topper ko partner kaha se milega? Rehne do! I accept your defeat.”

The girl said arrogantly and just then the saviours walked in. Mansi grinned wide seeing Kartik who waved at them unaware of the feud going on.
