Sia liked her boss. He was sweet. He answered all her doubts very patiently and even guided her through things she found difficult.

She wasn't aware of his true motive with her. He was on a mission to take revenge for his best friend.

It had been two months since she started working with Vardhan and she was enjoying herself thoroughly. He was a good boss and even a good man.

Sia had developed a little crush on him. Being in the same room all day, a crush was bound to happen. Add his good looks and amazing physique in that. And oh! Not to forget the intense looks he passed her way once in a while.

"Good morning sir."

She greeted him as she entered the cabin they shared. He looked up at her with an intense gaze before smiling and greeting her back.

"Good morning Sia. What did I say about calling me by my name?"

Sia bit her lip and looked at him. He had asked her to call him by his name a few days ago.

"I can't just call you by your name sir."

"Why? What's the problem? I call you by your name."

"Because I'm your subordinate but you're my boss. And it doesn't look good if I call my boss by his name in the office."

She explained and he smirked.

"Fine! Not in the office but when we're out, you call me by my name."

"In these two months, we haven't stepped out of the office more than thrice."

She chuckled and he looked at her with a knowing smirk.

"Then practice for the upcoming months. Agle do mahine bhut trips maarni hai mere saath. Get ready to take my name Sia."

Why did she blush and feel butterflies in her stomach when he said this? He meant it in an innocent way right? No double meaning right?

"Which also reminds me. Book two tickets for New Jersey on mine and your name. Three days later."

Sia nodded and opened her laptop. She, being his assistant, had access to the company card and booked tickets on their name on the specified date.

"Return tickets sir?"

"Umm.. we'll be staying there for two days tops. So the 15th or any earliest flight after that."

Sia nodded and started checking the availability.

True to his words, the next two months were completely packed for both of them.

They were on their last scheduled trip for the month. In Dubai. Vardhan had been flirting with Sia all through the trips. He wanted her completely in love with him. So that he could execute his plan of extracting revenge from her.

And from the looks of it, it seems like he wasn't very far from his goal.

Vardhan and Sia checked into the hotel in Dubai. Vardhan handed Sia her room's keys and said.

"Freshen up and meet me in my room in 2 hours."

He whispered, leaning in a little. He had been doing that a lot. Whispering things to her. Sia blushed and asked.

"What for?"

"To discuss the upcoming meeting. What else Sia?"

Vardhan said with a teasing smile and she closed her eyes feeling embarrassed. She covered it up and nodded looking at him.

"Alright sir."

He raised his eyebrow and she smiled correcting herself.

"Alright...Vardhan."

He smiled satisfactorily and they moved towards their rooms.

Sia slumped on the bed and sighed in content. She opened her phone and smiled looking at their picture.

"I wish you were here. To tell me that whatever I am doing and feeling is right. I'm so happy. He makes me so happy. You would have liked him too."

A tear fell from her eyes looking at the picture which she quickly wiped. After taking some rest and freshening up, she moved towards Vardhan's room and knocked.

He opened the door and leaned against it. She blushed at his pose and asked for permission to enter. He made space but stayed behind. Thinking.

She wasn't anything like how Armaan had mentioned she was. According to Armaan, she was bold and fearless. But her personality which he was witnessing was completely different. Can someone change their personalities just like that?

Or was she still faking it? His heart whispered that he was wrong. That she wasn't fake. That her reactions and actions were true. But his anger on Armaan's death overshadowed his sane part.

One part of him felt like he was misinterpreting the whole situation. That he had misunderstood it completely. But he was sure that he had most definitely seen her. With some other guy. In quite a cozy manner.

The meeting went well. Sia was in Vardhan's room as he wanted to discuss about some financial strategies. There was a knock on the door and Vardhan went to see.

"Good afternoon sir. Sorry for interrupting. We have a party downstairs in celebration of the completion of 50 years of the hotel. You are cordially invited sir."

The staff member said with a polite smile and Sia also came in view.

"Thank you. We'll be there."

Vardhan said and the staff continued.

"Would you like us to send in some tuxedos for you sir?"

"No, I'm fine."

"Dress for the lady?"

He asked, looking at Sia for a brief moment. Vardhan looked at her and she nodded discreetly while biting her lip. She didn't have a dress. She'd never worn one.

"We would like that. Thank you."

The dresses came half an hour later. Sia had left his room by that time. Vardhaan thanked the staff and called Sia.

"I can select any of those?"

She asked, eyeing the dresses. They were too pretty. Vardhan hummed and saw her run her fingers through the fabric with a childlike excitement.

"I've never worn dresses like these before."

She whispered and he frowned. Another lie. Armaan had shown him a picture of them on their second date. She had donned an elegant off shoulder dress.

"Can I try these on?"

He nodded and she went inside the bathroom with two of the dresses that she liked. Vardhan laid on the bed wanting to sleep for some time.

"I've selected."

She came out 10 minutes later and Vardhan looked at her holding a dress and placing one back.

"Iska kya karna hai?"

"Leave it outside the room. Wo le jaayenge."

Sia did so and went back to her room to get ready for the evening while Vardhan took a much needed nap.
