"That's not water."

She observed slowly and he smiled.

"No it's not. It was vodka."

"Why would you keep the glass unattended in the kitchen?"

She asked with an angry frown. He chuckled and said.

"Mujhe nhi pata tha ki yaha ek bacha khula ghum raha hai."

She hit his chest and she started feeling lightheaded already.

"I'm not a bacha. I'm a grown up girl. Mera birthday aa raha hai."

He chuckled and held her securely when he saw her eyes get criss-crossed.

"How many times have you had alcohol before?"

"Umm...never."

"You've chugged it down in a go. Chad jaayegi. And I think already chad rhi hai. Let's get you to bed before you pass out here."

He mumbled and picked her up bridal style. She round her arms around his neck and dug her face into it making him freeze.

His heart was beating wildly. No girl has ever had the power to make him this nervous. He always had his guards up before. Why was he letting them down now?

He took a deep breath and marched towards her room. He needed to get away from her as soon as possible and before he does something he regrets later.

He gently laid her down on her bed and started to leave after covering her with the duvet when he felt her soft grip on his wrist. She looked at him with an intense emotion which made his body hyper aware of their conditions.

"Ruk jaao na please."

She whispered and he cursed himself mentally. How was he supposed to resist this temptress? How?

"It's - it's too late. I should leave."

He said and held her hand which was holding her wrist to free his wrist. But she sat up and then held her hand because of the lightheadedness making him cup her cheek in concern.

"Please stay."

She again requested and pouted for extra effects.

"Nhi Naisha. It's past midnight. So jaao."

"Is it because what Rasika is said is true?"

He frowned at the introduction of a new character and asked who she was.

"Hanare college ki bitch hai. Rich, snobby, spoiled brat who thinks the world revolves around her. But it doesn't. And you know what she said. She said ki aapke jaise good looking, decent aur achhe ladke kabhi mujhe pasand nhi krenge."

She said with her eyes wide in exaggeration. He smiled at how cute she looked.

"Do you think she's right? Will men like you not want me, want to kiss me?"

She asked and he caressed her cheek.

"She is not. Like you said she is a bitch and she doesn't know shit. She is just jealous because you naturally have what she fakes."

She scrunched her nose in confusion and he cleared up.

"You have a heart full of kindness and compassion. You're so innocent and pure. All of which she and girls like her pretend to be. Tumhari ye innocence bhut rare hai Naisha. Don't let anyone ruin it. You're so precious."

She smiled and blushed. She then looked into his eyes and asked.

"Toh matlab you'll kiss me?"

He looked taken aback and took a deep breath.

She is drunk.

He reminded himself and made her lay back into bed.

"Sleep."

He ordered and ran out of her room as it it was on fire.

Naisha had a pounding headache the next morning. She clutched her hair and groaned.

She felt sunrays in her eyes and turned to the other side. Her hand reached towards the side table for her phone to see the time.

10:06.

How did she sleep for so long? She then recalled drinking Neel's drink and getting lightheaded. What else did she do?

Her hand fell on something else and she saw a strip of tablets kept on the table. It was a headache medicine.

She had one and laid down again letting the pain subside. After about 20 minutes she started feeling better and dragged herself out of bed.

A warm shower helped her a lot and she felt much better. Since she was already late for college she decided to skip it today and got dressed in her pjs.

She saw Neel sitting at the breakfast table typing on his phone.

"Aap office nhi gye abhi tak?"

He looked at her and smirked keeping his phone aside.

"Uth gyi nashedi madam?"

He teased and she scowled.

"Shut up!"

She poured herself a glass of water and had it in a go.

"Did I do something last night?"

She asked and he looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"You don't remember?"

She shook her head and he decided to tease her.

"You did not do anything but you spoke. A lot of things."

His tone and implication scared her and she asked.

"W-what did I say?"

"You asked me to kiss you."

He said eyeing her lips and her eyes widened.

"You're making fun of me."

She said with a scowl and he shook his head.

"You told me how Rasika thinks no one would want you and you asked me to kiss you to prove her wrong."

How did he know about Rasika? Did she actually ask him to kiss her? She bit her lip and asked.

"Did you?"

"Did I what?"

"Kiss me? Did you kiss me?"

She asked and he looked into her eyes for a minute before shaking his head. She looked down in disappointment. Rasika was right. He wouldn't want her.

She started going inside the kitchen. She had just taken out a pan to make herself a cup of coffee when she felt him behind her before he turned her around and held her arms.

"You were drunk and were not in a condition to give proper consent."

He whispered in a husky tone and she gulped looking at him with parted lips.

"I'm sober now."

That was all she had to whisper and his lips descended down on hers as he kissed her with a rough pace. Naisha gripped his hair and got on her tip toes. Their height difference made him lean down and so he snaked and arm around her waist and held the back of her thigh from the other before lifting her up.

She gasped not expecting the move and he plunged his tongue in her mouth grabbing the opportunity to deepen the kiss. She moaned and tugged at his hair. He settled her on the kitchen counter and pulled her into his body.

He applied pressure on her nape and she felt herself melt in his arms. The two were a mess. A tangled mess. Her legs around his waist and her hands in his hair. His hands all over body and erection digging against her centre.

Realising what he was doing, Neel pulled back with the speed of lightning and looked at her. Face flushed and lips swollen from the kiss. Her hair were a mess and she looked at him with a questioning gaze.

He couldn't meet her eyes anymore.

"I-I have to leave."

He didn't stay at home for another moment and ran out of the house. Naisha sat on the counter processing what happened and then blushed profusely.

The way he kissed her. Rough. Fierce. Hungry. And possessive. She got off the counter and sauntered towards her room with a giddy feeling.
