Akansha was coming back from buying some things when she bumped into someone. She muttered a sorry and then grinned because it was the new hot neighbour.

And he was wearing joggers this time. He seemed like he was going on a walk. Maybe she should start this healthy routine now.

"Hi!"

She chirped in a little too excited voice. He looked at her and muttered a small hi back.

"Going for a walk?"

She asked and he looked at her before nodding.

"Um-aapko kuch kaam tha?"

He asked when she just continued looking at him and she sighed. Why was he so cute?

"Don't call me aap. I'm sure I'm younger than you."

She said and he looked away.

"Out of respect."

He said and she grinned again. He was a gentleman too.

"Mere dost banoge?"

She asked and he looked at her with surprise.

"Dost? B-but I don't even know you so well."

"Toh dosti hogi toh jaan bhi jaoge."

When he didn't take her hand which she had forwarded and continued to look at the floor.

"Dekh lo! Bura maan jaaungi mai."

She said with a pout and he looked at her wide eyed. He didn't like the fact that anyone was upset because of him.

"Nhi! Nhi-I'll be your friend."

He said quickly taking her hand and her pout instantly changed into a wide grin.

"You're too cute!"

She said and he looked away. She saw his ears turn pink.

"I-umm-"

"You're coming for dinner at our place tonight."

She said, shocking him again.

"What? But -mai-"

"Maine invite kr dia. See you at dinner tonight."

With that she ran into her home before he could counter.

She saw her bhabhi looking at her with suspicion and she sheepishly told her about the run in with Aarav and the dinner invitation.

"Achha kia. He's a cute guy."

Her bhabhi said making Akansha grin widely and her brother look at him wife with narrowed eyes.

"Cute, huh? I'll show you something and you'll forget that cute guy."

He said walking towards her with a predatory gait making her eyes widen. She shrieked and ran away from him. Akansha chuckled and left to her room not wanting to disturb their always going on romance.

She sometimes feel like she is invading their privacy. Maybe she should rent another apartment somewhere. Maybe in the same building but a different one.

She heard a shrill sound and opened her eyes groggily to see her alarm ringing. Argh! Another dream. Why was it continuing? And why were they so realistic?

If she was so invested in Aarav's story she should dream just about him. But she was dreaming about her brother and bhabhi too. It was life she was living another life in her dreams. And it was weird.

But Aarav! Dreamy sigh He really is so cute. She wished she could meet him in real life.

After freshening up, she got breakfast for herself and opened the day's update.

It was all about Aarav shifting to his new place. He met with his neighbors who were a couple and the man's sister. They were nice people. Aarav spent the day familiarizing with the locality and the society.

It also mentioned that Aarav had applied for the post of singing teacher at various schools around the area. She got sad reading about Aarav being upset because all the schools he had applied in had denied his applications saying they didn't have any such post in their schools.

The update was too short and ended before she even realised. More like she was too involved that she didn't realise how much she read.

She was feeling his emotions within her. She needs to stop doing that. Maybe that was why she was dreaming so vividly about him.

Since the day Akansha ran into him and invited him for dinner, she has started waking up early to go for a morning walk. The first day she waited half an hour in the corridor because she didn't know at what time he went for his walk.

When Aarav stepped out of his house in his joggers and baggy tshirt, he stopped short seeing her. He remembered how she befriended him the previous day and the way she was looking at him throughout dinner at their place and blushed.

"Hi!"

Akansha waved her hand seeing him. He walked towards her pretending to be cool.

"Hi. Going for a walk?"

He asked seeing her all dressed up for a jog.

"Yup! I was waiting for you. Chale?"

"Waiting for me? But-"

"What? You don't want me to join you?"

She asked with a small pout and he shook his head quickly.

"Nhi nhi aisa kuch nhi hai. I mean-umm-let's go."

He said and she grinned walking beside him. They jogged side by side and Akansha was impressed by his stamina.

Aage chalke problem nhi hogi Akansha! Stamina achha hai bande ka.

What the fuck? What was she thinking? She needed to stop thinking dirty about the innocent being.

He would run to the mountains if he got to know about her unholy thoughts.

They sat on the grass after their jog and Akansha slumped down panting like a dog.

"You...you're not even...breathing heavily...kitna stamina hai...tumhare andar."

She breathed and he chuckled seeing her. He passed her the water bottle which she gulped down in a go making him chuckle as he took sips from his own bottle.

"It's not about my stamina. It's about you being not in a habit. Roz itna bhagogi toh you'll also he fine in a few weeks."

Akansha laughed at his words as if he had lost his mind.

"You really think I'm coming back after today. I'm done being healthy. Mai thik hu aise hi."

The smile on his face fell a little. He liked her accompanying him but didn't comment.

"But phir tum akele ho jaaoge na. And you don't know much people here. Toh mai itni kurbaani toh de skti hu. Things we do for friends."

She said dramatically and the smile on his face returned.

Akansha was yet again disturbed by a shrill noise and switched off her alarm. Why was she disappointed at being woken up? She liked her dream life more.

Things continued. The Wattpad updates continued and so did her dreams. She told her bhabhi about her dreams and the guy in the story one day.

Her brother was sitting their too.

"Kya time aa gaya hai Akansha? Dreaming about a non-existent guy. Khair! Kar bhi kya skte hai. Asli mai toh koi milne se raha."

Her brother said with a pitiful face and patted her arm sympathetically.

"Maar khaaoge! Bakwaas nhi!"

She glared at her brother who laughed. Even her bhabhi giggled making her whine.

"Mujhe baat hi nhi krni aap dono se."

She started to go back to her room but they held her back and the three of them gossiped for a long time.
