Akansha was having her tea and toast as usual but she was in the living room itself rather than going back to her room.

Her brother and bhabhi were in the kitchen and she for once gave them freedom and let them romance without her interruption.

She heard the doorbell ring and kept her cup aside. She opened the door and saw a young, handsome man standing before her.

He was towering over her with a good height. He must be atleast 6 feet tall. His black wavy hair were spread against his forehead in a messy but attractive way. His black eyes were hidden behind thin rimmed spectacles but she could still see his thick lashes. He had a sharp jawline as if it were chiseled manually. Her eyes raked down his form and she saw him wearing baggy tshirt paired with black cargo pants.

Akansha was lost in admiring the man when she heard him clear his throat. Oops! The slight blush on his face told her that she was clearly busted because he knew she was checking him out.

"Umm-hi?"

He said and damn! He had such a deep voice. One that could make her want to obey each of his dirty commands. Stop it Akansha! You've just met this man!

Her brother came out of the kitchen hearing the doorbell followed by a male voice and his overprotective brother mode was switched on.

"Yes?"

Agam asked coming to stand in front of Akansha blocking her beautiful view. She rolled her eyes at her brother and peeked at the man before her brother's back.

"Umm-hi. I'm Aarav Sinha. Your new neighbour. Mai aaj subha hi move hua hu. So I thought-I should-I mean-I just came here to introduce myself."

Agam relaxed at Aarav's words and Akansha gave him a wide grin. This cutie was her neighbour. Her days just got better!

Agam called him inside which he denied a few times but finally did feeling a little embarrassed and Akansha could feel that he was the shy and reserved kind of guy.

Sanjana quickly made tea for all of them. Akansha who was already done with her tea took another because tea is love yaar.

Agam indulged Aarav in a small talk. He got to know that Aarav's family lived in the same city but he moved away from home to do something for his own self. They also got to know that he wanted to be a singer.

Akansha could feel that he was feeling uncomfortable talking about his family so she shifted the topic to herself.

She started introducing herself and told him that she too loved music and that they should collab sometime. He nodded feeling a little at ease now that the topic was of his liking.

Agam and Sanjana invited him again over dinner sometime to which he politely nodded not knowing any other answer.

Akansha was busy staring at the man in front of her as he talked to her brother. She felt a nudge on her shoulder and saw her bhabhi call her name.

"Akansha?"

She hummed and her bhabhi nudged her shoulder with more force.

"Akansha?"

"Tsk! Haan?"

"AKANSHA! Utho! Late ho jaayega!"

Akansha opened her eyes and saw her bhabhi standing over her head trying to wake her up.

She looked her and searched for Aarav but realised that she was in her room. She looked at the time and saw that it was 6 in the morning.

She was dreaming? Did she get so involved in Aarav's character that she dreamed about him as an actual human being. Oh but it felt so realistic.

Akansha hugged her pillow and sighed at the beautiful dream. Then her eyes widened when she realised that she had to rush to work.

She quickly made her tea and toast and came back to her room. She opened Wattpad and yayyed when she saw the second chapter was updated. She took a sip of her tea and quickly opened the update.

Aarav finally gained courage and spoke to his parents about his passion for singing and his wish to continue a career in the same.

"Singing? Aur kya karna chahta hai singing krke?"

"Umm-I love singing papa. Mujhe singing mai apna naam banana hai."

Aarav confessed and saw his parents look at him with matching frowns.

"And what is your plan of action?"

"Abhi pata nhi. Maybe I'll apply for the post of singing teacher in schools. Ya something which will-"

"Teacher? Teacher banna hai toh maths ke bano. Science ke bano. Ye singing teacher kya hota hai? Kya image reh jaayegi hamari society jab logo ko pata chalega ki tu singing teacher hai."

His mother said the word singing as if it was a curse. Aarav's head hung low and his fists clenched. Will they ever understand him and his feelings?....

Akansha felt both angry and happy after reading the update of the day. She was really angry at Aarav's parents for demeaning his love for singing like this. But she was happy that his siblings understood and supported him. She really liked his elder brother's idea of Aarav living away from home, away from the negativity of their parents so that he could do what he wanted to.

Akansha sighed and closed the app. She still remembered the dream and she was imagining the Aarav in her dream as the Aarav in the story.

Realizing that she was daydreaming again, she rushed to get ready and drove off to her work.
