"I'll cooperate. I never said I won't."

He said quickly and she looked straight into his eyes. She was trying to intimidate him and he knew that. Yet her gaze affected him.

"Good! Chalo ab!"

She said and entered in making him sigh in relief.

After a week of interviews from each department, Tamanna and Anubhav had their team ready.

They called a conference with the employees. When all of them were seated in the large conference room, Tamanna took a quick name call. Anubhav scowled thinking that she's going to lead the meeting.

But she surprised him when she passed the mic to him after the name call. After the initial seconds of shock, Anubhav grabbed the mic from her and cleared his throat before starting.

"Hello everyone! I think you guys are aware ki aap sab ko yaha kyu gather kia hai?"

When everyone nodded Anubhav continued.

"Well, you are the lucky ones jinhe ye chance mil raha hai and it you give your best in this project, chances are that we get more such projects in future and you can be the permanent members of the team. Everything depends on your performance. So I hope aap log for the next 7-8 months aapna 1000% iss company aur project ko dene ko ready hai. Because not only the company but each one og you working on this project are going to get a good bonus out of the project."

There were murmurs all around the room anf and Tamanna looked at Anubhav. She knew he was good at addressing people.

"Ok! Ok! I know this is exciting but first we're going to allocate tasks and deadlines to all of you and be very serious guys. Agar kisi ko lagta hai wo apna time nhi de paayega abhi bhi back out kr skta hai. But agar project shuru hone ke baad aisa kuch hua toh we won't consider you for the future prospects too. Ovetime bhi krna pad skta hai kuch din so be prepared. Everyone who's ready to give in their time and energy, I want you to come forward and sign this agreement."

Tamanna said and called their names again. They came forward, gave their consent by signing the agreement and took their seats back

The next month passed by in selecting the designs and getting them finalised from the client. Their client who was based in Paris, wanted a collection of 20 luxury dresses. When they had all 20 designs finalised, the work started on full swing.

The dresses were made freesize which could be easily altered according to the body structure. The making itself cost crores because the dresses made use of rare and precious gems.

Tamanna and Anubhav worked in close scrutiny with the team.

"Guys! We have to gear up! We have five months to go and next month half-way report submit hogi clients ko. We have to show them good work."

"Mam! I think hume overtime krna padega."

One of the members said and Tamanna thought about it.

"Office toh 10:30 se jyada late nhi khulega. So what we can do is crash at someone's place for a while. Jise problem na ho. And jab thoda pace thik ho jaaye toh we can go back to our usual routine. What say guys?"

She suggested and everyone thought about it.

"I think we can try it. Because we actually need to pace up and wo bina overtime ke nhi ho paayega."

"Great! Me and Anubhav will have a word with Sinha sir."

Anubhav raised his eyebrows at her. When did he agree to her words? But when she raised her eyebrows back as if asking if he wanted to suggest something else, he smiled at everyone and nodded.

And that's how they found themselves in Sinha's cabin.

"Work from home? Jisse travel na krna pade aur kaam jaldi ho?"

The man seemed thoughtful when Tamanna nodded.

"Yes sir! Bhut log hai team mai jo kaafi dur se aate hai. Unka aadha time aur energy toh travelling mai hi nikal jaati hai. So we were thinking of staying at someone's place jisse sabko travel na krna pade. Ek baar pace set ho jaaye aur track pr aa jaaye progress, we'll shift back to working in office."

"Or sir maybe we can do alternate weeks. Ek week work from home and the other office."

Anubhav suggested and Tamanna nodded. Even this idea wasn't bad.

"I think I can agree to Anubhav's idea. But I want daily progress reports."

Both of them nodded and walked out of his cabin.

"See! It was my idea that he liked."

Anubhav boasted and Tamanna smiled.

"Good job!"

She said patting his back and walked towards the hall their team was given. Anubhav looked at her retreating back with a scowl.

'Good job? What did she mean by that? Huh! She's just jealous.'

Tamanna informed everyone about the approval.

"Lekin rukenge kiske ghar?"

One of the members asked.

"Hmm! You can crash at my place. It's a Thursday today. Saturday tak tum logo ke liye jagah ready krwa dungi with your tools and everything you guys will need. Jo weekends pr aa skta hai wo aa jaana otherwise Monday ko sharp 6 mujhe sab chahiye ghar."

Everyone nodded and Anubhav quipped in.

"Mere ghar bhi aa skte ho."

"We're neighbours Anubhav. Zaruri nhi hai har cheez mai mujhse compete kro."

Tamanna reminded him and he smiled sweetly at her rolling his eyes when she looked away.

So it was decided, Tamanna got her place ready for everyone and on Saturday, her place was a mini workplace. Machines and tools everywhere.

A few of the members came on Saturday and Sunday itself. Boxes of material required for the dresses were kept at Anubhav's place.

The first day's progress report was sent. Everyone had their dinner by 9 and got back to work. Tamanna and a few people were at Anubhav's place. It was around 1 when Tamanna finally felt her body give up and got up to go back to her place to sleep.

She entered her bedroom and saw two boys sprawled on her bed. One of the boys was on a mattress on the floor. She shut the door and came out.

Even her living room sofa was occupied. And a few of them were asleep on the mattresses on the floor. She decided to crash at Anubhav's living room sofa and knocked on his door.

He too seemed like he was about to go to sleep when he opened the door.
